I'm so mean sometimes.

Seriously, I had to continue in another post to be sure I could fit all the pictures in. Really!

We found some of our favorite characters, and my husband decided it was time to do the booty dance with none other than...............................

This brought tears to my eyes because I knew then that hubby was going to be okay on this trip after all that had gone on with his mom. He was his "old" self and living his youth all over again.

Up next, my favorite, of course:

The line for Dinosaur was 45 minutes and we just didn't feel like waiting (and Mark was a little leery about this one with his neck...I'd done it myself last year...so it was no big deal).

We stopped in a shop (gee, are you surprised with that announcement?).

As we decided that we would head back towards the Tree of Life and do It's Tough to be a Bug, we saw these guys with hardly any line and decided to stop:

Oh my word! I love love love the picture of Mark doing the booty dance with Eeyore! Like you said, you knew that he was doing well and coping with his mother's death because of the way he was acting. There's no better place than Disney to add a little magic to your life.

I missed an attraction later in the trip that I love to do because Mark won't do it anymore and I was really mad at myself for NOT doing it.



I love TOT...it really is my favorite ride (although I will hold on to the handle).

we may be trying ToT on our next trips....

So, I am hopelessly behind on yours and everyone elses' TRs. Plus I am camping out at work until the storm is done, so you know what that means - crappy internet explorer and no pictures.

Can't wait until I can see Mark's hat pictures. Yeah for two rides on EE! I love that coaster and really enjoyed the single rider line with Cynthia (since Denny won't do it)

TH breakfast has been on my bucket list for awhile and I hope I eventually make it there. Sounds so yummy!

First, I am so glad to hear that your mom's meds situation has been sorted out. That could not have been good to have all that in her system. (wondering who thought it would have been )

Second, looks like day one was a complete success. You got a ton done! Isn't dumbo and the surrounding area just adorable?

Day 2 looks like it is off to a great start. Love all the animal photos! And breakfast at TH is one of my favorites (maybe even more than CP )


So neat to see that Mark is having a good time with Eeyore. You both deserve it!!!

Before I move on to the rest of our day at the AK, I wanted to share the "final" Save the Date card the kids ordered for the wedding. They'll be mailed out right after Christmas, and I think they turned out great:

Shortly after Mark got his second plate, the characters started to circulate in our area. First up, Marv...oops, I mean, Goofy:

Well he is quite the fan of Goofy.

From there, we headed toward Dinoland. But just before Dinoland is MY favorite part of the AK. Can you guess what it is? Well, I'll tell you....in the next post.

Love to see Mark acting like himself. Great photos. I need to make time for that meet and greet.

i would sit out with you on everest, we rode it on our honeymoon and wasnt a huge fan of it, the going backwards made me feel terrible all day.

i lover rollercoasters though so manybe i would try it again.

Great Updates Kathy !!!We also ate a Tusker House and really enjoyed it !!We got the pix with Donald, this was a good character meal, my favorite is still CP though !!Absolutely LOVED the Blue Hair Hat !!! The Eeyore Booty too !!!! I still have to finish my Universal TR and then I will start My TR of the Disney Free trip.

You are on an updating roll woman! You two were acting like a couple of teenagers at the Magic Kingdom...seeing and doing everything you could until you just couldn't go any more.

Even though you didn't get to the Animal Kingdom as early as you would have liked to, it doesn't seem to have been a problem. From the looks of the safari pictures, the animals were out and about that morning.

I wish I felt like a teenager...sometimes I really feel old. I was very happy with how much we got done.

Nope, we got a lot of animals which was really great (some of which we've never seen up close).

I'm sure it was crazy! I will definitely let you know!

The juice is similar to Boma's (and probably Ohanas). I'm not sure of the real name of it.

MEK, the most important thing is that you stay safe; the pictures will always be here for you to scroll through (the one I wouldn't miss is the Eeyore/Mark booty dance!).

I agree; I won't even let Mark ride SM (which suits me fine because I don't have to ride it unless I'm with the girls.

You are given a little leeway because you were at Disney for 10 days. Isn't that booty dance great? 38 days and we'll be back and then I have to write another trip report???? Heaven help me...I better hustle on this one.

We really enjoyed this breakfast and will try to do this at least once every other year (sorry, I can't give up my Crystal Palace and we cannot continue to do three or four buffets in one year as I gained too much weight on this trip).
