Sorry I haven't been by before now to post. Maybe if you started a contest or something............
Where were we when I last was with you friends? Oh yes, I had just had an "unfriendly" welcome from a CM and Mark and I were heading to the
Love that Ferry Boat ride between OKW and DTD!
We stopped at Raglan Road and Mark got a Kilkeney Red Beer and I had the Bailey's Shake. All I can say is yummy.
Okay, something new to add to the To-Do list........
Wow Kathy, no more DISmeets for you after dealing with an unfriendly CM. You scared the life out of THAT poor fellow!!!!
Glad Mark was there to try and resuscitate him..........
We arrived at our destination and YES....our mission was successful. We were both now proud owners of one of these little beauties:

on the APs!!!!!
After the Annual Passes were purchased (courtesy of our oldest son, Andy), I also bought the Tables in Wonderland card for our meals.
TIW is my favorite way to do Disney dining. Much more flexible and fits my dining habits better.
I saw this dress and so wished I had a granddaughter:
Hopefully it is still there when the time comes.........
Great pic! Mark looks so relaxed and content after an already long day.........
As we were waiting, I hear someone say my name. I looked up and it was a friend from here on the DIS, Tracy (LuvvsDisney here on the DIS).
And, as any good DISer knows, if there isn't a picture, it didn't happen. So I present you Tracy and Kathy:
I guess that Bailey's Shake helped get you over the unpleasant CM thing so you didn't have a repeat of your earlier DISmeet.........
An empty bus which was the norm for us almost everywhere we went:
Hopefully the parks were similar so you could get a lot done when the time comes.
We arrived too early for our ADR, so we stopped in the gift shop to look around (I love the Beach Club theme and it is the last deluxe resort I want to try). Mark decided to have some fun to pass the time:
So did you get him this one to wear on the December trip???
The food was good, but nothing spectacular. The crab legs were too much work and didn't have a lot of flavor. I'm not sure we would go back.
We had a similar experience there. The food looks good, but it turned out very underwhelming. Not high on my list for a return trip for sure, although the breakfast buffet might be worth a visit.
Finally back to OKW at 8:30 at night , I went into the lobby to check on our room while Mark went to the gift shop to get some water for the room. I asked if our room was ready and I was very nastily told that they'd sent me
a text message hours ago....around 3 p.m. I told them that I had NO text message and I had checked at 3 p.m. and was told our room was still not ready. To say I was not happy was putting it mildly, but I was too tired to get into it or ask for a manager. I did not receive a "I'm sorry" or anything.
Wow, sorry you guys had such a tough time just getting your room taken care of at OKW. You sure didn't need that additional stress. I'm guessing things got better though.............
