How much do you get done at crops?

I went to a crop this weekend. I actually got quite a bit done. I planned it out before hand though. I was "wrapping up" all of the loose ends that I could find. I'm one of those scrappers who flits from layout to layout and then ends up finishing several at one time. I really like to think about what order my pages will be and the direction I'm going.
What helps you get the most done at a crop? Any tips for when you go to a crop?

It all depends on how fast my mouth is moving, how much pre-planning I've done and if I have a deadline. In 4 hours, I could get anywhere from 4 to 16 pages done. No journaling, though. I cannot journal at a crop.

I get the most done when I have everything in my Power Layouts box ready to go. Even if I just have the photos in the box and not the broders and such, I could still do a page in ~ a half hour.

Depends on what I'm working on, how much pre-planning, and how much flitting and talking. Also the complexity of the designs.

Last month I went to a crop and from 9 am to lunch only managed to finish about 4 pages (and I do journal most of the time) because I was cutting out a title from extra (blurry) photos of the event. But by the end of the day at 4 I had finished closer to 20 I believe.

My tip, don't take what you don't need.
My CMC lets you use all of her tools, and her sizzix, lets you buy paper by the piece, look through her idea books... so I don't carry all of that stuff that I don't need. It saves me time and my arms! I do take my embellishments and plan ahead.

When I first started scrapping I would ake everything and sit there and go through photos and try to come up with ideas... I'd get hardly anything done! Now I do like you said- I go through the photos beforehand and put them with the paper and cardstock I want to use. Then I pack my embellishments and pens and I'm set to go. I don't take my albums, just the page protectors. That helps my bag not be so heavy. I also save any eyelet setting for when I get home.
