How much do you budget for each Week?

Apart from a couple of DLP trips, we've always had our holidays at the in-laws villa in Spain, as we get it at good rates! ;) Each week we budget about £300/week for buying food, a few meals out, petrol, etc. When we go to a theme park or similar, it goes on credit card.

I have no idea about the cost of living in Florida, and was wondering how much people budget for the normal things, if staying in a villa? We plan to go next year in August, with one week on site at WDW, and the remaining to weeks in a villa, self catering. We'll get the 'days out' tickets before we go (American Attractions seem good), and any retail therapy will go on CC, so I was wonder how much to budget for day to day food in the villa, and say, 2-3 meals out a week?

Thanks!

We eat every meal out, no way would I be wanting to cook on holiday plus prices I have seen in supermarkets its almost as cheap to eat out. I am sure you can save a few $'s but after spending £1,000's is it worth saving £100 to make meals, personal choice but making meals is not part of a holiday for me.

Florida covers every budget for meals, we have eaten at CiCi's pizza, all you can eat & drink for 3 of us, cost $16 about £3.50pp, Sweet Tomatoes, one of our favourites with coupon costs under $30 about £6pp, most expensive place we eat at is somewhere like Cheescake factory, usually costs around $60 about £12pp but we are absolutely stuffed, 3 could easily share 2 portions if we wanted to as we always leave some having a meal each.
Sign upto all the restaurant websites just before you leave, they will all send you joining vouchers, Birthday Vouchers etc, BOGOF, Free entree, free dessert etc. Make sure you enter your birthday as the day you leave so you get the Birthday offers.

We have American friends who eat out every evening, one of them posts on Facebook where they are eating every day, I believe they have had 1 meal at home since Xmas.

If you have a look on a site like garden grocer it gives supermarket food prices.

Some things are dearer, some cheaper -

We also prefer to eat out but do a supermarket shop to get breakfast food in for some days, water to take to the parks etc. You can also get a takeaway/pizza, pick up a cooked chicken and salad or maybe have a bbq if you don't want to eat out all the time.

I try to do 2 adult and a child for $100 a day eating mainly offsite at the chains like outback, tony romas. I do use coupons. If you are going to eat alot of character meals in the park or fancier places then that will be higher.
