How much do mouse ears cost?

First trip to disney for the kids and what is a trip without mouse ears. I was wondering how much are they? I did read somewhere you can make your own is that true? Thanks

I believe there anywhere from $10-$20. There are a ton of different ones to choose from, so it depends on which ones you want. They aren't too expensive though.

I am pretty sure that I read something that said they have discontinued the build-your-own ears. (I seem to be remembering that it was mentioned in an Al Lutz article maybe?)

ETA: Maybe it was this MousePlanet update that I am remembering.... in any case, it looks like the customizable ears disappeared in early June.

We were there on June 1st and they still offered the make your own ears. The next day the entire display was gone. I asked if there was anyway to get one still and was told no.

That's a shame they cancelled the build it yourself ears. They were cute.

I got charged to put my name on my hat. I think it depends on the type of font you use. I picked a fancier one.

Sadly, it's so. This changed when they went from CM hat writing to machine hat writing (which takes for.ev.er.). You can now get different colors and different fonts--I believe the traditional yellow in the original writing is $3 and the rest are a bit more expensive.

Standard font is like $3, custom font and colors are $7.

I hated the build your own since they ears never stayed snapped onto the caps.

They do have infant ears for around $12.

Although I remember buying pink mouse ears for my niece one year and you couldn't even see her name with the color of the thread (white, I think) so it's good that there are more options now.

They do have infant hats. Not sure if you can see my avatar but the little guy was 6 months at the time. The hat was big but I bought it anyway because it was both boys first visits. He surprisingly left them on for a lot longer than I would have thought. They have a traditional infant hat (which he is wearing) as well as blue and pink versions.

Yes they do I have gotten them at the Disney outlet. If the OP PM's me I might have a couple pair to pass along for the cost of postage. When my son had a birthday party I picked up like 25 of them at the outlet for favors and I have some left over. They aren't fancy but better than making your own imo.
