We are going for our first DVC stay in 18 days:banana:
I was wondering how much dish detergent and dishwasher soap they supply and also if there is a pitcher for mixing up frozen juice? Thanks for the help and if someone knows where I could look for this information I would appreciate it.

Just returned from SSR on our first DVC stay also...
There was more than I expected.

There was a small bottle of Dish soap. Plenty for a week's stay.
I didn't see a pitcher of any kind.
And there was only one use of Dishwasher soap and One Pack of Tide.
But there were plenty of trash bags and two rolls of paper towels.
Also a few sponges.

Have a Great Trip...:goodvibes

Dishwasher soap quantity varies depending on resort (some have single use packs, others have larger multi-use boxes.) I've heard there is never a problem asking a maid for more dishwasher soap (Laundry soap, you must supply by yourself)

Here's one link to a place with guest room inventory links: http://dvcnews.com/content/view/151/141/

I know there was a pitcher in my OKW 2br this spring and SSR should have one, also in the 1BR+ units?

Just got back tonight (7/21); we were in a one-bedroom for 10 days. Just ask housekeeping and they will supply more for you. We had frozen orange juice to prepare and the pitcher is really small if you use the larger frozen fruit juice cans. Again the pitcher is small.

You guys are awsome :worship::worship::worship::worship:
Thanks so much! I forgot to mention we are staying in a 2 br! Thanks for the link too, I can never seem to find it when I need it.

We just got back from a two bedroom at Kidani. The supplies were different than that at our two bedroom OKW room last year.

One tide package good for one load.
One small dish soap.
Four packages of dishwashing soap.

Disappointed:

No pitcher. We wanted one as well. We aren't coffee drinkers, so we ended up using the coffee pot as our pitcher.

No extra garbage bags.

No extra paper towels.

We were also at Kidani and we had a couple of pieces of tupperware-type storage containers. I wasn't expecting that, and I don't see it on the inventory list. Do you think it was Disney-supplied or had a previous family left it for us? :santa:

Oh that's too bad. Did you call housekeeping for more or didn't bother and just make do?

I wonder:confused3

Extra dish liquid and dishwasher soap, paper towels, trash bags are always available at no cost from mousekeeping. You are supposed to be charged for extra coffee and extra laundry soap and even extra bar soap, shampoo and shower gel. We have never been charged for extras of any of these things but we could have been charged. I always like to keep bar soap by the kitchen sink so we always get at least one extra.
We have always had a pitcher in 1 and 2 bedroom units but have not stayed at AKV (until this coming Feb.). I notice that a pitcher is listed on the member website for many resorts, but not specifically mentioned at AKV. I would think that mousekeeping could bring one if there isn't one in the unit, but that is only a guess.

Two words.. Owners Locker ;)

If you can get one these are great and you can put your own pitcher laundry detergent, dryer sheets, etc in there. We have two now and even have our own ice tea brewer and selection of fruited teas in there.

Its like having all the comforts of home while at Disney.

We've always had a two quart plastic pitcher in the kitchen where we stayed.
