How Much Did I Pay For This Self Inflicted Fun? A Wigdout trip report.

I worked on an update last night and as I clicked the button to post it the boards had gone down!

I thought it was all saved but this morning I realized it wasn't....

This has happened to me before too, so I've started typing my updates in Word and just copying them into a DIS post.

Looks like you all had a great breakfast at Tusker House! Does Harper ever warm up to the characters? The pictures of her trying to make sure that they don't get too close are still really cute though! I'm not surprised that Keeley skipped breakfast, but I am surprised that she expects you to come all the way back to the resort to get her when she's ready......

ETA: Didn't realize you had more updates in there - you were a typing machine today!

Just what exactly was that couple in front of you in line for the safari trying to do??? Looks like she had her hands in his pockets....I think maybe they needed to head back to their room - just sayin'!

I HAVE to try the Grey Goose slush next trip - I keep forgetting to get one.

That was very nice of you to run interference between the lady on the ECV and the rude people, I will never understand what makes some people act the way they do.

Yay! An update and whole day at that!!

Tusker House looks great-I can't wait to eat there! My DD was just like Harper the first time we went...except Ellie was older (3.5). I don't think she ate a bite at the breakfast we went to that year because of the characters. At least Harper got some eatin' done first!

The sky was so blue and beautiful in your AK and DTD pictures! What a great day!

Can't wait for more!

I love Tusker House! It is a definite must for our summer trip. I was disappointed that they changed it so Donald is only outside now. The first time we went they took a family picture sans character, and then Donald was one that visited our table inside. I guess that more people buy the picture if Donald is in it.

Your family shot in front of the tree at AK is great!! The shot in line with the newlyweds...... YUCK! I hate that kind of stuff.

I'm having serious bag dilemmas and this is one I am considering. How did she like it? I need something not very heavy but large enough to carry a long-sleeve shirt during the day because I know I will want it in the morning/evening.

The pictures with the characters were great, especially the Mickey ones. Harper is a little doll, but then she takes after her mother. I'm sorry Keeley decided to miss out on all the fun.

I'm looking forward to the next post and the Lion King.

Maybe Keeley needed her sleep, besides, she doesn't eat breakfast.

I wish I were at Animal Kingdom right now! I love the picture of Baylor with Daisy (she's my fav!). Tusker house breakfast is super delicious! Keeley doesn't know what she's missing! I too love the Grey Goose slushies! Too bad it wasn't Keeley's happiest day...I hope she cheered up a little!

That's the thing with Keeley, she can be mad then turn around and get right over it! Amazing!

Great update!!! I can't believe that Keeley, at her age, would have expected you to go back for her so she didn't have to ride the bus by herself. I couldn't help but laugh!

You know I love Tusker House and Everest pictures!!! One day little Harper will enjoy seeing the characters -- probably by her next trip!

Beach Club is so pretty decorated for Christmas -- I want to stay there in 2011 for Christmas!

Well I'm glad Keely got to sleep in, it sounds like a lovely morning at AK. Breakfast, Yeti's, FOLK, Safari, absolutely fabulous! Love the Baylor/Daisy pic.

I might have to side with Megan on the slushie, if Keely wants to be treated like 21, acting like it might have helped her cause (even though it sounds like she behaved all day until then). I could totally see treating my little sister the same way! Sigh.

Still, all in all (mean people with the ECV lady aside, how lovely that you gave her jelly rings), it sounds like a really great day!

I keep hoping Keeley will mature up and stop acting so stubborn...
That poor lady in the ECV, I think they were mad at her because she might have pulled up in the beginning on the spot where the kids were playing hop scotch but as soon as she noticed she backed up and then put on her light for them to see. Such a nice lady. She was so frail. No muscle tone. Slender fingers so weak. My heart just melted for her.
No reason to be mean.

I thought it was funny that Megan decided to take it upon herself to tell Keeley that we decided when we hadn't even talked about it.....

Oh yes, go straight to France and get the Grey Goose, they are wonderful! Don't delay!

Harper never did warm up to the characters this time, I hope the next time we take her back she does though...

You are correct! It is.
I keep it in the purple locker and it worked perfect for her. You will love it if you get one! You can fit a bunch of stuff in that thing.

Harper was very uncertain of those characters....

Keeley has been ignoring the drinking age for a very long time. A good many of the teens around here do it too. That would be why I have a breathalizer.

Yay a whole day of report!! Kinda not surprised she slept in. Glad she was able to ride the bus Harper was very cute with the characters. Unsure and cute!! The ECV lady sounded sweet-yay for the jelly rings!

I WANT THAT NECKLACE TOO!!! SADLY I WAS UNABLE TO FIND IT EVEN WITH MY AP DISCOUNT... Oh, I do have a funny Zebra Dome story... But it will keep for a few more days till I catch up!

Oh what great great updates!!! Very fun day at AK it sounds like, and DTD and dinner at Epcot! A fun day for sure! We are trying the R & C this summer since everyone has recomended it! My, you did have some moments with daughter... It was a funny story about Megan telling her "we have decided" -- the royal "we" works everytime!!!! And Shocker that was more than nice going back to get the park ticket!!

It was a difficult decision to leave DTD. On one hand, it did not bother me to be away from Keeley, but on the other hand I truly hate leaving Wigd to Disney shop on her own!

I just knew that if I did not do it, then it would be up to Wigd!
