How Much Did I Pay For This Self Inflicted Fun? A Wigdout trip report.

Yay a whole day of report!! Kinda not surprised she slept in. Glad she was able to ride the bus Harper was very cute with the characters. Unsure and cute!! The ECV lady sounded sweet-yay for the jelly rings!

Keeley was a real trooper about riding the bus alone, I had my doubts that morning when we left her sleeping.
Those characters were a little unsettling to our little girl that's for sure.
I was happy to make that sweet lady using the ECV smile, those people were so cruel.

VERY VERY COOL YOU GET BLT for the 4th!!!! Are you in a Magic Kingdom view?? There is a balcony crossover between BLT and the Contemporary that looks like a great place to see the fireworks!

I didn't think to request a castle view until I called back this weekend. So I'm back on a wait list for that. Keeping my fingers crossed. I sure hope we get it! We have big plans to watch them with MeMom and her crew!

Oh what great great updates!!! Very fun day at AK it sounds like, and DTD and dinner at Epcot! A fun day for sure! We are trying the R & C this summer since everyone has recomended it! My, you did have some moments with daughter... It was a funny story about Megan telling her "we have decided" -- the royal "we" works everytime!!!! And Shocker that was more than nice going back to get the park ticket!!

It really was a good day, and funny that Megan told Keeley about a conversation that didn't even occur....
Actually for Shocker it meant time away from the "Drama Queen". I think that's why he went back. Most of that time for me was spent in Basin!

It was a difficult decision to leave DTD. On one hand, it did not bother me to be away from Keeley, but on the other hand I truly hate leaving Wigd to Disney shop on her own!

I just knew that if I did not do it, then it would be up to Wigd!

And yes, I am more than nice...

And I have to agree with Megan about the drinking, good for her telling Keeley the way it was going to be.

That poor woman, I'm so glad you shielded her from the rude people. I don't get way people are such jerks. It really bothers me. I sometimes feel like each trip there are ruder people around but I always hope that they are the people who will go to Disney once, hate it and never go back.

I was away for the weekend and am now all caught up.

BLT - the studio is small, but if it's just the two of you it won't be so bad. We had four and when we opened the sofa bed it was like there was no room to walk!

You are so lucky to go to BC for Christmas! If we ever go back in Dec. it will be BC or WL! It was so nice to look around there! That's how we got sucked in and booked for summer!

Keeley - oh, the trauma and drama! I laughed when she said that about riding the bus alone! Did she think she was in the Bronx or something? It's a DISNEY bus!!!

Harper was cute looking up at Goofy...I often wonder what is going on in the little ones heads when they are approached by the characters

Did you like your dinner at Rose and Crown? I have an ADR for there in May...mainly just to try the Yorkshire Pudding and see if it is up to snuff

Most of that time for me was spent in Basin!

That's a happy place to spend time.

I never have bought myself anything from there, but when Trent went down to see Jamie a few weeks ago, he came back with two bars - Florida Sunshine and Ginger Bear! Jamie's mom (nowellsl) had gotten them for me on one of their weekend trips. That was so thoughtful...and pretty doggone exciting for me!

I got another snow day, by the way. It must be treacherous out there, because the kids weren't even going, so buses weren't running. They did this just for teachers, even after they said we would be expected to be there or take a personal day today, so it must be really crazy!

I will come back later tonight to look at all your pics. So no Keeley for breakfast - who's surprised? But going back for the park ticket....ugghh! This is starting to sound like my June trip.....the trip of the missing park tickets, cell phone chargers, safe keys. Shocker is a trooper for going back to get it. So let's see.....one trip for jackets, another trip for room keys.

You were so nice to the lady in the ECV. I give her props for touring the parks in her state of health. ECV or not...park touring can be exhausting and rude people are just so uncool.

I am glad you braved the cold to see Illuminations!

Hmmmmmm, let's see, we've been to Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, what's up next you ask?

That would be Hollywood Baby!

We all were up the next morning for an early start. The plan was to run with the bulls to get fast passes for TSM.

Marc is always the man for this job...

So with out much trouble we were up, grabbed something to eat in the villa and were down at the bus without any drama (that I can recall).

Marc did hurry on to grab our fast passes and we made our way as a slower pace to meet him at TSM.

I was texting Happydog and they were in the standby line for TSM so I found them and said hi. We agreed to meet up later! It was really fun to see them in person!

With fastpasses in hand we went to explore the studios.

Moving on.....

Megan and Matt were posing.

I did forget but we stopped off early for some pastries at Starring Rolls and I am not seeing any pictures.....

But now it looks like it was almost time for lunch.

The plan was to meet up with Jennifer aka Happydog and the boys in front of Hollywood Brown Derby where the girls and I were going to eat. Then Marc, Matt, Baylor and Harper were going to Sci Fi for their own kind of lunch.

Before I knew it here they were!

We posed for this picture after we visited for a bit. It was so nice to get the chance to talk in person!

We made plans to get together later in the week and said our goodbyes! It was so good to see them! Yay!

On to the Sci Fi lunch....

We shared 2 Cobb Salads, Creme Brulee and the Cheese Cake. We had plenty to eat and it was delish!

Next it was time for some shopping....

We had grabbed more fast passes when the window opened for TOT so we had some for TSM and TOT to use....
But we were tired....
So instead we decided to go back to the resort for a rest and come back later....

How responsible of us!

Back to the bus we went!
