How Much Did I Pay For This Self Inflicted Fun? A Wigdout trip report.

I didn't even tell our kids about the letters, they will drive me crazy with the "have the come yet" questions if I do. So I'll just let them be a nice surprise when they do arrive!:goodvibes

After I get home from church and eat lunch today, I am going to get all the letters put out on the table in stacks and check the list one last time. I think I have them ready to go, but with so many of our kids coming from other classrooms, since we don't have three classes together, I get the letters at all different times. After I double check to make sure everyone has one, I will get them in an envelope and be ready to stop at the P.O. tomorrow after school. Maybe by the end of the week, your kids will have their letters. We will plan on writing again after we go on our zoo field trip on April 22nd. Between now and April, we're helping absorb students from 3rd and 4th grades while those teachers work with small groups on TCAP skills.

I'm sure this has been a pretty stressful weekend getting your mom settled in. I hope she's in a good situation now. Didn't Baylor have a tournament, too? I hope you can have a little while to relax this evening before you start a new work week.

OH MY Anita...

I have to catch up here...when last I read you had just eaten at Prime Time...I fear I am way behind...dang...oh well I'll just have to go back this once and search for the pertinent bits and skip the banter till I catch back up...

I have a feeling that I missed scads of drama...I think I need a refill on my coffee before I dive on in...;)
I've been bad and don't have my links up ..... feel free to skim until I get that done!
Exciting news! Come visit my TR! :)
Oh I did! Very exciting!
Oh dear.. I am so sorry Shocker.. BUT, you know... I didn't take the picture...:rolleyes1
Nope, that would have been him!:rotfl2:
Yes! OR check out the Vera Bradley site too! They had my weekender on sale 40% with the extra 10 % online that day -- soooo....

I thought the pink was very very cute. I have the Bali gold, though, and liked it with the pink and yellow and brown.... NOW, It does hold a water bottle, small camera, travel packs of handwipes, etc.. I don't care to put the water bottle in too often, but it can be done... small purchases, etc. fit brilliantly. My Trip binder-thingy fit perfectly! I really like the size!

And I was just laughing laughing that I miss the best converstions that apparently I am a part of but am never up or on the DIS when they happen :lmao:
Why does it seem that you light is off when we have those conversations? Do I need to text you? Has your number changed with your new phone?I do need to mosey over to that Vera website.....:rolleyes1
WIgD I CAN'T belive that your spring break is in THREE WEEKS OH BOY!! :yay:
We don't have a single weekend off (with basketball) to get ready, it's going to be here before we know it!

SOOOO excited for you! You will have such a nice time. :goodvibes

Sorry for the time and stress with the move for your mom, I hope it all works out okay.
It will be great to get to Disney, I just need to get this week over with and get my mom moved!

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm thinking we should all buy stock in Vera Bradley! ::yes::
Great idea, you could make millions!
:lmao: I was JUST sayin' .... :lmao:
Sayin' or enabling it's all good!
Yes Jordan! :D I get my names mixed up!
I knew who you meant!
I read the last few pages...bag talk?;)
Don't you love it? By the way Jordan, are you starting a new trip report? One that perhaps I could get an early start on?
It was great meeting you!:thumbsup2
Isn't she a doll?

We will go and get my mom packed this afternoon. We are under a winter storm warning today. Looking at ice and some snow....
I imagine there will be school tomorrow.
The move for her will be tomorrow or Tuesday.
Baylor's team won their first two games yesterday and almost beat an undefeated team in the championship game. They played in the 6th grade division and are a 5th grade team so they did pretty well for themselves.
He was happy with the way they played.

We complete a book study after school tomorrow so I need to get that reading done this evening, that will be my relaxing along with getting my ironing finished for the week....

Sometime today I need to do an update on the DIS!

That is a characteristic of OLD AGE!! :lmao:
She's not old!

As we made our way to our African home I snapped pictures of the views of the savannah and the art along the way...

When we got back to the room Marc and I put ourselves down for naps, Megan and Matt laid down too, but Harper had slept in her stroller and Baylor and Keeley weren't tired.
This is where Keeley got very annoying....

She made sure the the noise level in the living room was high!

She was the noisiest of all!
The could have put in a movie and sat quietly and watched but no....
It was a tickle fest in the living room
Loud laughing.
I slept a little but woke up constantly, I'm a light sleeper. Oh well.

Soon it was time to get up and head back to Hollywood Studios.
We had no plans for dinner so we were free for the evening.

I found Harper sitting out on the balcony enjoying the view. She really had fun out here!

She was watching these guys...
Soon she had some company!

As soon as we got to the Studios we stopped for a photo pass picture, here it is....

We were armed with our fast passes from TSM, TOT, RNR, and we wanted to see Osbourne Lights so we had a busy evening ahead without much waiting!

Marc and I were the only TOT riders. Megan, Marc and I were the only RNR riders. Everyone rode TSM and loved it. My score was dismal because Harper rode with me but that was OK because we had fun!

After our Toy Story ride we headed to Streets of America to see the lights!

They were outstanding!

Osbourne Lights were a bit crowded and the stroller was a challenge to push through so we didn't linger too long.
Baylor wanted to check out the snowman.

As we passed by Star Tours we noticed that it was a walk on so the kids rode and we waited with Harper.
She decided she wanted to have some fun speeding along!

DSCN0295.jpg

We gathered the group and headed out of the park.
Those of us that needed some rest had taken naps. The others hadn't but oh well.
We were on our way to the Magic Kingdom for a late night!

I was hoping for some Fantasyland Magic!

Great pix. I just stayed at AKV...and well...that's coming up in my TR which by the way, has started.......:thumbsup2

It's fun to see other peoples pix of AKV.......

We ventured to Magic Kingdom and it was well, Magical!
The castle was just enchanting!

I'm a bit sketchy but I think our first stop was Columbia Harbor House for dinner....

Then off to Haunted Mansion with no wait!

DSCN0310.jpg

Followed by Small World! Oh how I loved riding this with Harper! She was just mesmerized by this ride. She pointed and said "mama" the whole time. I just melted into a little pool....:cloud9:

Can you guess what we did next?

If you said this you are right!

We rode Dumbo!

More castle pictures! It was so pretty!

DSCN0329.jpg

DSCN0329.jpg

After Dumbo we walked on Snow White thinking it would be some time before Harper would be able to ride it without being frightened and decided it was getting late and needing to go ....
On our way out Shocker and Baylor noticed that Disney may be going to the dogs.....
They spied a woman with a dog in her arms and amazingly another dog in a wheelchair while the woman walked. The fellow standing there seems to be surprised too! How in the world did she get them in???

On our way out.

Back at the Villa we got ready for bed, it was late, we had no early morning planned, tomorrow was Christmas Eve.
We had lunch at 2:00.
Candlelight Processional at 5:00.
Nobody was being hurried.
It should be drama free, right?

Love those pictures of the castle. I never saw it all rainbow colors like that!!

Harper's little face with that binky in IaSW...priceless!

Great updates!! That Harper is SUCH a cutie - sitting on the balcony, with her 3D glasses on, binky in her mouth, and on the Star Wars speeder. :cutie: Love the family photopass portraits -- those are keepers for sure.

How on earth did that woman get to bring her dogs in?? They sure don't look like the "assistance" dogs for the disabled.

Yup, plan surely sounds like it should result in a drama free day. Why am I getting the feeling that the opposite happened?

Awwwwww... these are GREAT GREAT photos!! I love the group shots, the one of you and Marc wonderful!!! We didn't get any night time Christmas photos :sad2: I wasn't on my game!!! ANYHOW, adorable photos on the balcony, and looks like, at least in the photos, everyone is having fun :goodvibes Harper sure is cute!!! The Savannah view seems perfect, we had standard view at AKL, but still were able to see animals which was nice. Seems like the best reason to stay at Kidani!

No, my # on my cell is still the same. The problem is that I don't necessarily have my phone anywhere near me in the evenings... I tend to leave it in my purse so I don't loose it!!! BUT we just got new phones, and my alert is "Walle" So now I will know!!! Also, I just downloaded "fantasmic" as my phone ring!!!! :rotfl:

Harper is such a cutie! I would melt into a puddle too! Sounds like you had a nice nap - despite the tickle war!

Great photopass pictures!

I also love the ones of Harper hanging out on the balcony watching the animals :goodvibes

It sounds like you all had a great evening using up your FPs @ DHS and hitting up Fantasyland for Harper! I'm worried about the way you ending that update though......

Great update! Sounds like so much fun, HS and then off to a late night at MK.
Little ones are the best part of It's a Small World.... both girls were so into in... I hope that Luke tolerates it at least.

You have such great family Photopass pictures, Wigd!!! Everyone looks fabulous!

I was a puddle just reading about Harper on it's a small world -- she is such a little cutie!
