We have sooooo many kids at our door- it's nonstop for 2 solid hours! We buy sooo much candy! We always run out- tonight will be different because my DD is old enough to go around longer, so no one will be home for awhile. I did not buy as much this year. we'll see how it goes!!
I bought 3 bags. I will be out with the kids TOT'ing and dh is out of town so no one will be home. These bags are for the kids that show up early/late.
Actually I'm down to 2 1/2 bags. Those butterfingers are so good! Thank goodness today is Halloween.
Normally I buy 4 or 5 big bags and run out of it. This year I won't be answering the door because I've been home sick with bronchitis all week. I guess I'll just peak out my windows and see the little cuties going by.
I only bought 1 mixed bag as I'm not expecting that many kids. But it should be enough.
The last 4 years we weren't home and went out. Last year was different - tOt at both SeaWorld and MNSSHP! This year will be DS5's first time going door-to-door (with Daddy) while I stay home and hand out the candy.
well, I bought 10 bags, but my dh and ds6 ate a few bags of it so there was probably 5 or 6 bags left but we still had over 1/2 left when trick or treat was over. dh passes candy out while ds6 and I go around the neighborhood.
We bought about 8 bags. We should have a little left over. We take the kids out trick or treating and leave the candy on the porch. I have a sign to "please take two pieces". Hopefully no one will empty all of it into their bag.
We bought 7 Costco sized bags. We usually have 200+ kids that come to our door. I love ALL of them, except the annoying teenagers that come to my door with no costume on and expect candy.
I think I bought about 15-17 bags of good chocolate candy and I'm sure we will run out!! (I live on a military base and we have a million kids) I never never never run out!!
In the previous years I bought about 10 bags. Last year we didn't get as many trick or treaters so this year I bought three large bags. I'm really hoping there will be no leftovers.
I bought one bag of mixed candy. There's not a lot of kids in my subdivision. I think my door rang 3 times last year. This year, I'll have my DS13 take DS9around the neighborhood so I can pass out candy for the early kids. Then I'll take them to the subdivision next to ours for an hour. That's where all the kids will be.
About 10 Jumbo bags and we will run out... then DS 4 comes back home and I sort out the gum, peanut butter stuff and others and they go back to candy bins!!
