how much candy do you buy for trick or treating?

I think I bought about 15-17 bags of good chocolate candy and I'm sure we will run out!! (I live on a military base and we have a million kids) I never never never run out!!

This is us. Except we aren't on a military base, we just live in an easy ToT area (houses pretty close together, short driveways and mostly flat so we get lots of ToTers. )

I am thinking of sending my son to the store to get more candy, just in case.

NONE and NONE...we live just outside the city limits, but there are no sidewalks, no streetlights, and it's just not safe for trick or treaters..I really miss seeing the little ones all dressed up!

I usually get about 40 or 50 so I buy two boxes of the regular size bars at Sam's. It costs me $20 and it's so worth it to hear the kids yelling "they're giving big bars at that house!" to each other.

I bought about 120 bars of chocolate. I handed out over 60. Some years we get a lot of kids but not as many lately.

I love Halloween!

This is the first year I bought full size candy bars. I bought them at Walmart for $11 a box. Two boxes of 25 and one of 30, so 80 bars in all. It is 8:30 pm here and I have 20 left.

We buy 4 Sam's size bags, about 450 pieces total. We generally have about 350 kids. People come from all over. I love it!
