We will be in WDW in November for 7 days (after Thanksgiving). We have 2 days in MK (plus MVMCP). 2 children age 4 and 6, and a grandma in a wheelchair. Assuming I arrive for rope drop (9:00), about how much can I realistically get done by lunchtime? by 3 pm parade time? We have 5:00 ADR @ Ohana. I'm thinking we can cover Fantasyland, Haunted Mansion, and maybe Splash using FP, eat CS lunch by 11:00, catch Pirates, Mickey meet& greet, 3:00 parade and hop on the monorail and be at Poly by 5. Unrealistic?

Our first MK day is Tuesday Nov 29, on which Touringplans.com is estimating a low crowd day.

We went when my DD was just turning 2, and we went all day (no break) and just left the park by 3 or 4:00 every day. She did well with that strategy, so I'm going for it again.

Hi! We were there in April 2010 over the northeast spring break, so crowds were usually between 6 and 9. Our kids were 4 and 6 (like yours!) and this is what we did: Got to MK for rope drop (or very soon thereafter). We hit Peter Pan first, then sort of hopped around. In 2 hours we hit Peter Pan, Thunder Mountain, Pirates, Small World, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise and 2 or 3 more. We had lunch and then left the park at about noon. So if you are planning on being there until 2 or 3, you can get a lot done. You can grab FPs for rides that need it, but it sounds like crowds won't be an issue. Since we arrived early in the day, our waits rarely went over 10-15 minutes. On the way out the crowds were pouring in (and the posted wait for Peter Pan was 60 minutes). Have a great time!!!!

I think that's a realistic plan depending on the crowd levels. You didn't say exactly what day you're looking at.

I think you can pretty easily get what you want done if you have a plan and know things like hit Peter Pan ASAP. We were there July 3rd (it was packed that day) and did pretty much everything in the park by 3pm. We got fast passes right away when we could for high demand attractions and used Lines to find those near where we were with the shortest standby time. It worked really well.

I would suggest heading to Dumbo first. Even on slow days the line grows quickly and it's a slow loader. Then grab fastpasses for PP, then on with your plan. You should get more done than you expect. Nov 29 is a party day and my experience is those days are very slow. In '09 we did nearly every attraction in the park.

My suggestion is to start with Dumbo if you want to ride it and then get to PP. After that most of the rest of Fantasyland won't get much of a line until at least an hour after park opening. Realistically if crowds are as expected and depending on your movement time you should be able to complete Fantasyland, Liberty Square, and Frontierland without a problem and maybe even get in Adventureland as well by parade time. It all depends on how often someone needs a break, how long you need for lunch, if your children want to spend a bit of time in a playground along the way, and other such factors that vary from family to family.

You can do this at that time of year but if at all possible would try to see if Grandma would ride a scooter as that will help you all as is very hard to push wheel chairs. do understand some cannot ride scooters. but if they can I rent from walkers and call and it is there when we arrive and I have until we get back on Magical Express to leave. the first year I had MS my friend did push me all over WDW and then she was so down in her back from it. so I learned to drive one in the grocery and target etc. and the ones I rent are fit for my body size and height so they lots easier..:cool1: my Mother used one until her last trip at 87 and we taught her in the grocery as well.:cheer2: will never forget her last trip we went to MNSHP and watching her face at the fireworks sitting on her little scooter... priceless  as was our few months with her.

The key to getting things done early is prioritizing! Decide what your top five things to do (rides, character experiences, etc.) are and do them first thing in the morning. If you want to do something again, grab a fastpass and then go by sections. Fantasyland gets more and more congested as the day goes on, so if you want to get to any of those rides, do it as soon as possible!

You can get tons done by 3pm.

For reference, we have a fam of 5 with a 10yo, 9yo and 7yo.

Our last day in August we had to leave MK by 3:30 to go back to the resort for ME, and we didn't get there until 9:30 because of needing to pack and check luggage at the resort

We did:
splash 3x
thunder 2x
pirates
Haunted Mansion
Small World
Peter Pan
Philharmagic
Pooh
Tea Cups
People Mover
Stitch
space 2x

In addition to that we had time to burn 2 snack credits each and have a CS lunch at Pecos Bill's
