Geez , where in Jersey are you? Im over in Marlton (by Cherry Hill) and my kids lunches are around 2.50. Are they giving them really great lunches? That sounds like a crazy price.

Wow that is a lot for a school lunch. My DS's school lunch is like 1.85. We're in Colorado Springs. He doesn't get school lunch very often anyways, but he would always have to take lunch at those rates!

NY (but not NYC) $2.25 first grade, milk is 50cents alone, but included in with the 2.25 hot lunch deal.

DD's elementary school lunch is $1.85 - I know the local middle school is $2.00, not sure about the high school. We pack!
