Hi DIS friends,

How much does the AP cost? per adult and per child? And how long do they last for?

We're planning on staying at WDW for 12 days. Would you guys recommend that we get APs instead of the Stars and Stripes ticket. The SaS are like the length of stay pass.

Thanks for any advice.

Have a magical day:wave2:

last i checked 403 for adults they are good from the first day you activate them at the park

An adult annual pass is $403.64, and a child's annual pass is $342.93. An adult PREMIUM Annual Pass is $531.44 and a child's premium annual pass is $451.56.

The annual pass expires one year from the date of activation. If you activate on 7/19/04, it will be valid until 7/19/05. If you purchase from disneyworld.com, or the Disney Store, you are purchasing a voucher. It is not active until you take it to the ticket windows and have it activated. If you purchase it at the Earport store at MCO, any ticket window, or the Ocala info center, you get an ACTIVATED pass - which means it expires one year from the date you bought it.

A regular annual pass gives you unlimited acces to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and the Disney Studios.

The premium annual pass gives you the same admission as well as unlimited admission to Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Disney Quest, and Pleasure Island.

HTH! :)

If you are eligible for the SaS ticket, then you are eligible for the military price on the AP's (currently $371AD/$311CH).

What would be the better ticket for you depends largely on what you plan on going to while you're at WDW. AP's only include the four theme parks. If you plan on doing water parks, PI, or DQ then you will have to spend additional money for the tickets to those over and above what the AP costs. Roughly two visits to any of those additional places and you would have paid the same amount for the SaS. The 12 day SaS currently costs $431/$345 and includes almost everything.

You need to decide how you want to use your admissions to determine what the best ticket is for you. If your only concerned about the four theme parks, then the AP is your best bet. If the other venues are important to you, then the SaS will probably be best. If you can squeeze in a second trip within a year, you can get a PAP for $486/$409.

Hope that helped.
