How many weeks in a row have you stayed in a timeshare condo?

Was thinking of spending maybe a month in Orlando next winter. I have 4 weeks banked and was thinking of trying to get in the same resort for all 4weeks. I know this could be hard to do. I wonder if I would have to check out at the end of each week and move to a another unit? Has anyone done this?

I don't think this would be very hard in Orlando if you were at one of the bigger resorts, as long as you didn't include the most popular times. What month did you have in mind?

I've only stayed two weeks in a row, but the resort was very happy to rearrange our reservations to keep us in the same unit for both weeks. Some of the resorts are more customer friendly than others.

Off the top of my head, Mystic Dunes, Vistana, Summer Bay and HGVC would probably do this with no problem. OLCC, maybe not.

The best time to do this would be when you could catch a bulk banking. I know HGVC just had one that included next Fall. If you're a TUG member, watch for the bankings there.

I like to change.... it makes the vacation seem different!

I've done it, but moving out of one place and into another basically ties you up all day, particularly if you've got groceries that need to be refrigerated. It would be my last choice.

just take your groceries to the front desk - many of them have refrigerators and will store your food until your villa is ready.:goodvibes

I would like to stay in one place if it was nice. If I'm staying a month I would like to kind of settle in.
