I see others posting about their states....I suspect this will be a short thread...falling quickly into oblivion!

Well, our residence is in CT but we have a summer home in W. Newbury, VT. Does that count?

primary residence in new york, but we own a second home, used mostly during ski season, in springfield

Well, I'll chime in just to keep this thread alive for you a few more minutes.

I returned yesterday from a long weekend camping trip to VT. I stayed at Emerald Lake state park just north of Manchester. It was 8 hours each way from northern VA. Pastoral and beautiful place to be certain. I also took the boys up to a monster truck show at the Addison County fairgrounds, waaaaay up in New Haven VT, which is the absolute middle of nowhere, while I was there.

Someday, I hope to have a second home in the Bennington-Manchester area and live in NY or CT.

Take Care,
Bryan

A real Vermonter here...born, raised and living in South Burlington...

Yay! Responses!

Lew - I am in South Burlington too....for a few more days anyway...we just bought a house in Richmond and will be moving in July.

Coachsting - Nice to meet ya, neighbor.

Ricapito - Whaddaya mean? Addison County is practically URBAN!

Garylpn and Michelemouse - Thanks for keeping the thread alive for awhile longer!

We moved to a new street in South Burlington from Essex a couple of years ago. A couple just down the street are members at OKW also.

My daughter and her family live in Williston and are members at BWV. I met a guy at a card game last week who is a member at BWV also.

We DVC members are everywhere!!!

My DW was born and raised in Woodstock. She married a "flatlander" (as my mother in law affectionately called me) and moved off. We go back often the last time being 1 month ago.

While at WDW several years ago we ran into some people we knew who were staying in a DVC as guests. I didn't have a clue what they were talking about so went and checked it out & by the end of the stay we had bought!

I'm glad that Vermont is well-represented!

I'll keep the thread alive.

I'm jealous of all of you Vermonters! I love your state!

I turned down an job opportunity in Brattleboro about 1 1/2 years ago (financially it would have been a stretch). One day I think I will really regret that decision.

My wife and I have been vacationing in Vermont every summer for the past 11 years. We used to stay in the Mad River Valley. One year we spent a week on Mallets Bay. The past two years, we stayed for a week on Lake Bomoseen.

In just 16 days we leave for our 2-week Vermont vacation. One week on Lake Bomoseen and one week in Stowe (actually just north of Stowe). I can't wait.

If I ever hit the lottery, I will buy a house in Vermont and loads of DVC points!

Lived in VT from 1966 - 1976 - Highgate Springs, Swanton and Vergennes. Dad lives in South Hero.

I moved to MA in 1976 .. but we drive up to So. Hero frequently to visit my dad. Vermont is a beautiful state. Never ran into a fellow DVC member up there..but I'm sure there are quite a few!
