How many total points do DVC members own?

I was curious how many total points DVC members own?

I agree with Mike. There should be catagories that go up to 5000 points.

A Disney rep told me that the "rules" state that one family/person cannot own more than 2000 points. I did not miss the irony in your post, but throught that 2000 point limit was interesting.

I believe the total is 2000 maximum at any one resort, or 5000 maximum at an assortment of resorts.

Also, that is per the way a membership is titled. So you (individually) could own 5000 at a combination of resorts, and on another membership you and your spouse jointly could own 5000, then your spouse individually could own 5000, and so on.

Yep, I did two small add-ons: BCV in Feb and BWV in Mar.

I certainly wouldn't want to pay the maintenance on 5000 points! In fact our 449 is about the most I can handle. Sure it would be nice to have a lot more, but I think our total is just about right for us now.
