how many standard bwv studios are there??

just curious since I have been on a waitlist since May and no movement yet This is for our Dec 10-14th trip keeping our fingers crossed

The first 2 weeks of December are very popular at BWV. Standards sometimes sellout right at the 11 month window.

The standard view category makes up a little less than 20% of the total available rooms at the BWV.

Since all of the 2 bedrooms at the BWV at lock offs, some of them get rented separately as a studio and a 1 bedroom. We don't know how DVC decides the number to "break up" versus renting as a 2 bedroom. So no way to know how many studios there really are at any one time.

I agree with DebbieB - SV for early December is tough, even at 11 months. In my experience, they sell out the first day the window opens. There were undoubtedly waitlists before the 7 month window even opened.

I think your chances are very small, but I wish you good luck. You never know.

what I'm about to say probably won't be comforting but I've been on a waitlist for a std. view studio at the bwv for our thanksgiving trip since last dec. when it was 11 months. they were gone by the time I was connected to MS at like 9:01.

Do you have a studio, 1 br or 2br? Curious because I'm planing to make a 2br ressie for next Thanksgiving at the 7mo window. It's starting to sound like pipe dreams.

I agree with this comment!! I booked a studio standard BWV at the 11 month window at exactly 9:00AM for December 10-12 and was very nervous that it would not be available -- mostly because I only needed it for 2 nights, while my other Disney friends had a shot at my 2 nights, 5 days before me! I got it and was happy. I purchased BWV points to be able to book standard view rooms for October and December. Other times of the year, the standard rooms are a little easier to get, but October and December require a 11 month booking window! Sorry, OP. I'm sure there were alot of folks already waitlisted before the 7 month window openned.
