How many sets of dishes do you own?

We have a complete 12 placesetting of our casual dishes, and 6 placesettings of our formal china.

We are trying to fill in the gaps of what we didnt' receive for our wedding.

I also have a very inexpensive set of Christmas themed ones =)

White corelle set with many missing- tile floor.
Never picked a wedding set because couldn't decide.
So i guess this means i deserve to go shopping!

11 sets, all with at lesat 12 place settings and all available "completer" pieces including napkin rings, and everything else imaginable.

There are some others that I only have 4 or 6 place settings of.

You can never have too much china. ::yes::

The only pieces I've ever bought for myself were replacements for items that we accidently broke....over the years, maybe 3 or 4 plates or other pieces...

well technically 4 sets, but 2 of the sets I use together.

1st - pfaltzgraff - trousseau pattern, all dishes, canisters, etc. Service for 12

2nd -& 3rd - gibson everyday - 1st set has blue border, with gold rim. 2nd set has blue border and blue flowers with a red center. They look nice when they are mixed. Service for 12 between 2

4th set - my favorite - Salute - they have a tan base color with forest green rim and a fern leaf pattern on them. They are oversized compared to most plates. I need to find another setting that matches so I can mix these also. The bowls are huge. I've actually had more people ask about these dishes. I wish I had bought more in case they ever break. Service for 12

I would also like a set for Christmas but haven't one I really like yet, although I have alot of crystal bowls and platters.

We have 3 sets -- one set for the house and one set for the RV.
We use fine china most of the time though (paper Plates).

Never felt the need for more.
