How many rolls of TP were in your bathroom??

Odd poll I know, but on our last trip we stayed at two different 1 bedrooms (akv Jambo Value and BWV standard) for 4 nights each and there was only the one roll on the dealybopper when we checked in. No spare rolls to be found anywhere.

This is the first time there was no back up and I wouldnt have even brought it up, but when the BWV's were also lacking in a spare roll, I thought I would see if this is a trend or not?

(no biggy and no real complaints, but both times we had to snitch a second roll from the carts)

My first thought was - WOW, now that's uber-planning for the unexpected........

P.S. We did have "spares" in our recent trips, but the last one was May 2008.

I feel stupid even mentioning it, but it was just something we noticed... in ALL our trips before this one, we have always had extra rolls of TP in each bathroom.

This trip we were two for two of the DVC resorts with only one roll

Universal RPR and ASMo both provided ample TP

We had spare rolls both at SSR and BCV. They were under the bathroom sink.

In June we had spares at BCV studio, I don't remember if we had extra at AKV.

If I find we're running low before T&T, I just find a housekeeping cart that's parked nearby and take an extra roll.

I wonder if they are trying to cut down on too many extra rolls because guests are packing them when checking out. Considering how some people feel it's okay to grab all the sugar packets at a restaurant, you never know.

This is funny. Our trip to AKV / Jambo House this past March we found only the one roll of TP. We drove so I had packed a roll as I always do. On our day for T & T I left a note requesting an extra. When we returned from the parks that evening we found six rolls stacked neatly on the counter next to the sink. Needless to say we didn't fear running out the entire week. There was plenty left for the next guest.

We ran out of tp at BCV.
We were fine at Kidani.

We were at BCV and had at least two extra in our 2 BR. DOn't recall what was in our studio at SSR. I have never been out of toilet paper--even on a 7 night stay.

Luckily, traveling with a 4 year old, I always have a stash of wipes in case of emergency. Such a thing happened in March at SSR. I was not a happy camper as this happened the day after we had our T&T -- thinking that Mousekeeping would have seen that the existing roll was low, there were no spare rolls (in the one and only bathroom) and drop off at least ONE.

I always thought of doing this but was not sure if housekeeping had to keep track of their supplies. DH is always afraid we'll run out! We do keep a spare roll from a previous visit in our OL just incase!
