If you attend only for the party from 7-midnight. How many rides can you expect to get on?

What is the average wait time for the "mountains"?

We went in 2001 on Oct 27th (I think) and we got on every ride we wanted to......there was absolutely no wait for Splash mountain b/c it was a little chilly and we were able to stay on the log and ride it a few times without getting off. I think there may have been a little wait for Space Mtn, but not too long--5-10 min maybe. The Dumbo ride was the line we waited the longest for, and that was only about 15 min.

Thanks jiminy. I noticed you attended 10/01 which may have had lower than average attendance that year.

Am curious how this past oct went for everyone.

You're right, I was also wondering the same thing......

I also wanted to add that many people have said NOT to do the NSSHP on Halloween night, the crowds are crazy that night.

We were there this past Halloween night and rode everything/anything we wanted to. The lines at the candy stations were longer than the ride lines. My DGD isn't that big into candy so she'd just jump in a candy line if it was short. Brer Bear was in the street handing out what we thought was candy, but when my DGD looked it was a little packet of mustard! She thought that was hilarious!

I'd say the worst line we waited in was to get our picture done and it even moved pretty fast.

We were at the MNSSHP on Oct 25 (a Friday, and also torrential downpour about 10:30). We were sent to Tomorrowland to begin the event so the rides took a little longer there (20 minute wait on Space). As the party progressed the waits got shorter. Right after the first parade and fireworks (I was too close to the castle--didn't see as much) HM was crowded, but only took about 15 minutes. We were on Splash when the downpour began. I really didn't know how much of that attraction was outside until then! The rain actually hurt on the last drop!! We had our "drowned rat family picture" taken with very little wait at PoC, then DH went back to Poly, and DS and I did Buzz about 3 times in a row. We cleaned out a few candy stations as the evening was ending. CMs were just dumping it into our bags, and we waded through more water than I thought could collect in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland near the teacups, and then headed out. I do think the party is more about the candy, parade, shows, etc. than the enights. When I ask DH and DS if they want to do it again they say yes!

do you mind another opinion? You can ride the rides any day any night. But you can only enjoy the special entertainment that one night. I do as many of those as I can.

If rides are what you are there for then the closer you go to Halloween the longer the waits in the lines. The closer you go to a weekend ... the same story.

I go 3-4 times a year (I'm a local) and I totally avoid the last week in October now. Hope this helps
