How many ressies are needed?

I will be visiting the World from Aug 20-26. So far with the dining plan I have ressies at Crystal Palace and Coral Reef. Do you think more ressies will be a must during August? I would like to limit the reservations somewhat in order to be flexible about where we want to go during the trip. But I wouldn't want to be left standing outside with my nose pressed against the glass wishing I could be inside like the smart Disboards diners who planned ahead.

That's free dining period. I think you need as many ADRs as TS credits if you are doing the dining plan. Or at least as many times as you want to eat sitting down and being served.

You may get stuck eating at Tofu Mickey's or Goofy's Blood Sausage Factory.

Reservations are always necessary. This question is asked alllll the time, and I always have the same answer. To be safe, to always eat where you want and when you want, making ADRs is absolutely necessary. If you need help deciding where else to make your ADRs, just ask!

I would make ADRs if you know the restaurants you want to eat at. With free dining plan going on, they are filling up fast. It will be harder the larger your group.

This is our first time on the DDP and the first trip I have ever made ADRs for. I had a really hard time at first too, b/c I didn't want to be tide down to a plan, we had always just did CS meals. But after reading all the posts from this board, I have made dinner Ressies for every night and think we are going to really enjoy this trip. It will be something different for us. The food sounds yummy. We are eating at Tonys, Chef Mickey, Playhouse Disney breakfast, Spoodles, Raglan Pub, Capt. Jacks, Coral Reef and Sci Fi. After reading all the posts about Le Cellier, I really wanted to eat there, but they are booked. I've called every couple days to see if they have any spots open, but they haven't for a party of 6.
