How many remote controls do you have?

We just watched the movie "click" the other day (OK movie, has some really funny parts in it), and it got me thinking about how many remote controls we have around the house.
Actually, it's not too bad. We only have six. Three downstairs, and three upstairs.
So how many remotes do you have?

We have 4. Two universals, and two that I have no idea what are for. Well, my son has 3 or 4 of his own.

My husband couldn't find any of the remotes last night, so he actually turned the TV off instead of just putting it on the channel he wanted to watch. He said if he couldn't flip, he couldn't watch. Well, apparently he couldn't look either, because I found them all in one place this morning... right on top of the entertainment center!

I am guessing close to 20. 3 are used the most, and probably a dozen of them are for devices that are no longer in service. I recently bought a universal remote but I am going to have to find someone to program it for me

We have a lot. One for each television, plus the VCR's, plus the DVDs... Oh, don't forget the one to the CD player lol.

I have a universal (progammable via my laptop) that controls all the major features of the TV,DVD,AUDIO and SAT boxes downstairs.

Upstairs is the SAT remote that controls the TV and the SAT but not the DVD. I might get another universal for upstairs so it controls everything.

I have a high end universal for my room (6 under the bed that are not used).

Dd has 4 in her room
DsF has 3 in his
We have 4 on the 1st floor
we have 6 on the lower level 2 used all the time.

So we have many and use rechargable batteries in all of them.

Heavens....everything has a remote these days. stereo system (3), one for each TV (4), each DVD player (5), one for cable, air conditioning (3), one for my bedrom CD player

I wonder if dishwashers and ovens have remotes? If not, one day they will. We'll be able to set and start the dishwasher and preheat, set and clean the oven from a chair.
