I didn't know where else to post this, so please don't flame me.

I'm going to WDW in September, and would like to know how many pairs of shoes you take. Currently I'm up to four: Nike walking shoes, Nike rugged sandals, Crocs, and Nike running shoes. The reason I'm THINKING about taking all four, is that last year I only took two pairs of tennis shoes, and one of them turned out to be a bit uncomfortable - so I was stuck with one pair. Also, I thought that this year I would try taking a sandal-type shoe to air my feet out for a day or two.

I know this may seem like a silly question, but come on, who else can I ask besides you guys?! So please let me know! Thanks. :listen:

Trip #1 I had WAY too many pairs for each of us. Last trip I only took my NB sneakers, my Birks and a pair of flipflops for the wet rides. DS had his sneakers and 2 other pairs of sandals, DH had sneakers and a pair of sandals.

If the feet arent happy aint nobody happy! :goodvibes

I usually bring only 2 pairs, sneakers for the parks and flip flops for the pool.

New Balance and Easy Spirit athletic shoes, 2 pairs of Crocs, Birkenstock sandals, Teva flip flops, and MAYBE Teva sport sandals.

Somebody posted previously that they pack one suitcase with nothing but shoes. I decided that was the best idea I had heard in a LONG time, so now we have the "shoe bag". Of course you don't want ALL of the shoes in there in case it gets lost. ;)

I would only bring two pairs, sneakers/other walking shoes for the day, then flip-flops for relaxing at the fab resort. :sunny:

I always take way to many pairs of shoes. But I would hate to get somewhere and want a pair that I almost brought. I generally take walking shoes, teva type sandals, flip flops, cross trainers, and berks. This year I will also be taking crocs.

I take Sneakers and Flip Flops
DH takes the same
DD takes 2 pairs of Sneakers and way too many pairs of Flip Flops. I think she brought 1 for each outfit this last trip. :sad2:

I would say don't worry about it - if you have the room for every pair you want to bring - then bring them all. Believe me - you don't want to be misrable in WDW. You never know when you may need a certain pair!

I brought Crocs, tennis shoes and flip flops.....nevr wore anything but Crocs the entire time@ :rotfl:

I bring sneakers for dry days, Teva sandals for wet days (KRR, etc), and a pair of flip flops for the pool. For my first trip to WDW as an adult, we packed a shoe bag with way too many pairs that we never wore - including a brand new pair of sneakers that left my feet aching miserably. I always wear sneakers and sandals that are at least a year old, so they're completely broken in and I know exactly how I'm going to feel in them.

I will be taking two pairs of Beach style Crocs, possibly a pair of Mary Jane Crocs, and flip flops for the pool. :)

Last trip to Disneyland, I took only one pair of Crocs for the whole trip! :teeth:

Thanks so much for your responses so far (keep 'em comming)! Now I know that what I have in mind is not too much. Any other SHOE tips are welcomed!

Thank you! :disrocks:

I'm bringing 1 pair of Tevas and 1 pair of Crocs. If I have extra room in our suitcase (doubtful), I'd pack an additional pair of Crocs. They don't weigh anything, but they do take up luggage space.

My kids will also be bringing 1 pair of Tevas and 1 pair of Crocs each. We are buying ds his 1st pair of crocs today. :sunny:

In four days when we go (I couldn't resist typing that!! ) I'll be bringing my old and new pair of Crocs and my NB sneakers. Last year I brought more (various sandals, etc.) and never wore any of them. The DDs will be bringing the same- Crocs and sneakers. The DH will have his sneakers and (oh, the horrors of not buying Crocs! I tried to convince him of the error of his ways, but, alas...:)) NB water sandals.

Hope that helps, dear Glenda!
