How Many Other DVC Members Do You Know?

The only other people we know who are owners are our daughter and her husband and we bought at the same time.

Another daughter who desperately wants to own knows several people that own DVC. Her husband is a doctor who is in a practice with 2 or 3 other drs who are owners and they talk about it all the time. Between them and us he thinks it's a cult.

Aside from board members that I might interact with, I don't know one other DVC owner.

I met one at a wedding recently but other than that, no-one. We did see a car pull into our neighborhood with a DVC magnet on it and we were like- those are our people!!

I've only heard of one person I know of.

My neighbors (who my DD has babysat for over 7 years) are members we actually have met up down there. I also have an acquaintance (kids went to same elementary school years ago) who is a member and my niece just bought resale!

I have FOUR friends that are dvc members.

We were the first ones to buy that we know, but talked my cousin and her during into buying. They are now divorced and she is selling her share. My DB and Dsil own. We know several people who have bought and sold. My bff from high school owns (we still see each other a couple times a year and is DD's supervisor at work.). I have also met several women through a private chat board that own.

The only person I know is a former co-worker whose parents are DVC owners. My brother has been curious about owning, but I don't think his interest is that serious.

Other DVC members I know and currently talk to (at least occasionally):
1- SIL and BIL (own AKV and SSR)
2- another family we met through DDs' softball (they own SSR)
3- a neighbor from our last house that we still keep in touch with (they own SSR)
4- a neighbor from 2 houses ago that we occasionally FB (they actually lived down the street in smaller house and bought our house when we moved to #3's neighborhood...they first tried DVC by renting points from us and then they bought at AKV).

Knew some other folks that we don't see or talk to anymore at all.
