How many of you are hoping to purchase Lakeshore?

I know we have almost no details on the new Lakeshore Lodge, but I am curious: how many of the board members may be contemplating a purchase based on what they know right now?

It would take better transportation options. It's basically a straight shot north of the skyliner at international gateway.

We will probably add on there IF it isn’t bundled with CFW. We will need something near MK to replace BRV when it expires and the monorail resorts don’t excite me.

This! We keep tossing around the idea to finishing out our portfolio by adding some direct points, but Lakeshore Lodge hasn't been on our radar much. We would have to see more to see if its a contender. Right now Poly is probably in our top spot to add on next. Granted it took us 4 years to do our first add on, so it might be awhile.

For us, it will really depend on room categories, points chart, amenities, and theme/vibe. And, of course our family financial situation at the time.

Interested, but may just end up topping off our existing home resorts via resale. Or, maybe not adding on at all...will start paying for kids college starting 2028. So...while hopeful, also pragmatically probably not.

At this point, no. But if it gets closer to 2042 and looks like BRV won't exist anymore.....maybe. It would depend on if we still want to go to WDW often or if we decide to mostly go to DLR instead. (If that happens, we'll just pay cash for WDW trips.)

Maybe? It really depends on the trust model and if LSL is rolled into it.

Of course Price per point and point chart matters, but my main concern is the new trust model.

Not super interested right now simply based on the location so it's highly doubtful we'll buy there. I hope I'm wrong, but I also don't think it'll necessarily be my aesthetic unless they can somehow, in a nature-esque way, exceed the luxurious feeling and overall vibe I get from the rooms at Riviera.

Not interested due to location, and worse, it makes me a lot less interested in staying at CCV either because one of the things I liked best was looking out over the water and seeing how peaceful it is.

I am, in theory, their target customer… someone who would like a relaxing and tranquil DVC property… Details will be dependent…

- Not buying if part of a trust
- Not buying if Cabins are a part of it
- Would need to know room sq. Footage, etc.
- Need to know points charts
- Has to have a killer feature (or a few killer features) to offset the lack of proximity to the parks.

I will say that I was initially very interested in Poly Tower, but seeing it in person really killed any desire to own there. The rooms are lovely but the points chart is insane and the view categories make no sense. I am very happy with our VGF points, and frankly I’d rather own at BLT than Poly if I were in the market for a second (or different) MK resort.

We probably have too many points as it is, so as of now the only place I can really see myself buying into would be Beach Club 2.0.

I’m very curious about how Lakeshore will turn out & if done well & in keeping w/ the more woodsy location it would interest me more than the 2 bland towers currently in direct sales.
However, if it’s part of a trust, I’d avoid buying there, & realistically, I have as many points as I need ATM, although I was tempted to add a few at the VGF when I read they had some available for direct purchase recently.
