How many of you are hoping to purchase Lakeshore?

I think we'd keep an eye on it, but not from a purchasing perspective as I don't think the location is great for us. Might be one to rent at for a couple nights, just to experience

I’m open to it, if I love it and if I feel like I need to buy direct it would be on my list, but I’ll be 100 years old in 2070 and have no kids so the extra length doesn’t do much for me. I feel like CCV would suffice if needed. :)

Based on what we know now, not interested in buying there. We are owners and love CCV but I don’t think they will be able to out theme CCV for us. I am glad we own direct at Poly and can use those points to stay there, as I love each DVC resort in some way with my goal to stay at each one fo them at some point.

Never say never, if they come up with some kind of killer feature, but at this point it’s not something we are interested in.

Im still hoping for maybe a MK connected resort at some point? That would be cool to see.

I'm very interested in what it will look like, room layout and points needed. In some ways, I am their target customer - would love a quieter space with access to to all resort type stuff and not really care about theme park access. At the same time, I'm getting old and don't need a long term contract. I also think I should probably just add on to one of my current resorts if I need more points. 🤷

Wdwmagic reported a rumor of a new dvc resort with backdoor access to villains land. That would be a must have.

Big fan of CFW and wonder if LL will be an expansion of CFW, but not sure I really need to own at either/both to stay at either. Hope something nice happens with aquatics there but expecting to get what I want outside of peak times at 7 months and thus not planning to buy those points.

That’s a good point. It’s going to be such a huge resort it could be like OKW or SS and be easy to score a room.

Possibly, as long as it’s not added to the trust for CFW. If it’s a standalone resort, we will seriously be considering an add on. It will all depend on the specifics.

Not interested from what I've seen. I don't like the boat transportation option. I'm a little tired of the woodsy themes and want something a little more unique. I feel like i can get the Bambi vibes from the Grand Californian refurb and more woodsy vibes at WL. The newer the resort the more restrictions and stuff I feel they're going to try to get away with and I dont want to own more than 1 restricted resort for the time being. I'm sure the Tiana restaurant will be beautiful, but again, I can get my tiana fix at disneyland hotel and Port Orleans Riverside and I'm not sure how that will play out with the Bambi, fox and the hound, and pocahontas theme which I feel those three are more cohesive together... I think the lazy river will be fun and I'm interested in staying there of course. Anyways these are my thoughts from what I'm seeing now, all that can change

I’m hoping it’s really nice, but it’s a ‘no’ for us.
  • We have enough points already
  • Points chart probably high
  • Will have restricted points for resale
  • When finally on sale the $ per point will be even higher than todays prices
  • We’re in our 50s, so don’t need that length of a contract
  • Not really adjacent to a park (boats and buses)
  • Struggling to see how the theme comes together. Doesn’t BR and CC already cover this theme?

I've said yes to this question for the last 3 properties that have opened for sale but then the points charts are too high, or the dues are too high, or they have that weird Transient Tax..

So I'm gonna say yes for now because I've loved the concept since it was Reflections but just know something is going to turn me off. And the way ALL of these points charts are going, it'll probably be that.

Is there a negative with the trust? Just curious if the trust is a bad thing or you have other reasons to want it standalone.

ALL Excellent points!!
As someone said earlier too, with all the similar theming just next door it could be really easy to get at 7 months. I’ll wait and see. :)

Maybe. We just bought our first contract (direct Riv) and want to add on eventually. Depending on timing and how the resort turns out…big maybe.
