Floridafam - PD & prayers going out to you from me, sweetie!

Steveanddonna - I believe it was the WL that was out of availability in Sept, but no specific date was mentioned. I believe the lizard was Tooboyz4us a few pages back.

Debbie - Thank so much! I gotta make a call...hehehe!:teeth:

So many guys going in a short period of time, I really feel for you Steffy. I have an extra large suitcase & maybe I can sneak you in ;)!?

***BIG WAVE**** to all the lizards!

Thanks, VAgal76, - good to know there's still hope for Poly CL if we have to do September instead of October.

floridafam heaps of pixie dust and an extra hug:hug: coming your way to ensure some good news!

Steffy - 33 weekends - I love it! Who needs to think about all the mundane weekdays in between!

sojo33 and k&a&c'smom - watch out - I may still post the whole story of Stan the monorail man, a happy-tears tale if ever there was!

Thanks everyone.

I'm off to the Dr. after I drop something off at DS's school.

At least the sun is starting to shine.
:sunny:

It was snowing this morning when I got up.

floridafam...
HUGE PIXIE DUST FOR YOU!!!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

And prayers and {{{HUGS}}}}

VAgal...I PMed you.

steveanddonna...sometimes companies get huge blocks of rooms reserved, only for those to made available about one month before their dates.
Just keep calling.....;)

I really thought it was the Swan and Dolphin that are completly booked for October.

floridafam - PD to you, and I'll be thinking good thoughts for you!!::yes::

steveanddonna - LOL! I'll have my box of Kleenex ready, just in case!!:teeth:

And, just to let you know, I was playing with the disneyworld.com site, for our July/Aug. trip, and the Poly LV CL was the hardest to come up. But, if I moved the dates around, it would eventually say there was availability. Seems more and more people are recognizing the wonders of the Poly!!:wave2:

I agree k&a&c'smom!!!

And I also think they're recognizing the wonders of concierge!!!!::yes::

Have ya'll noticed how many more threads there are about CL here?

And, talked with a CL CM this am, and she was telling me that people are talking about this thread when they are booking!

ACK! What have I DONE?????
Now,,,,there'll be NO CONCIERGE ROOMS FOR US!!!!

VAgal...please pick up line one.

Bambi - I noticed that, too, seems there is a CL question every 3-4 threads here!! Everybody wants CL!!::yes::

I'm trying to figure this one out myself! Probably between the 19-22, or whenever MOST of you will be there!

#1HM~You are too funny! :teeth: ("Just set it...and forget it...) LOL. Thanks for all the info on the AKL view, etc. We were going to try Jiko's this summer, as everyone always posts RAVE REVIEWS about their visit. Monkfish? Mmmm...I LOVE seafood. ::yes::

FRED~:wave2: Are you going to post some perspectives from your NEW Digs? I would love to see some PICS too. ;)

steveanddonna~Post it!! I LOVE the "happy tears" tales...(I always CRY during the Hallmark commercials, Folgers coffee...etc. ) I love the stories we exchange of the experiences we share in the MAGIC! My KLEENEX is in hand. :teeth:

Floridafam--more prayers and pixie dust for you! Hope all went well at the Dr. Snow! Ack...
steveanddonna, let's hear the story, like DF, I like happy make you cry stories.
For all of you that stayed at the Poly cl before, should I pack beach towels? Yes, I am already picking things up at the store and have one bag with toiletry type stuff. I am going to drive DH nuts before we get there.

floridafam-hope you've already received good news from the Dr. Sending PD your way.

goodferry-beach towels for the pool? The Poly has lots and lots of towels at the pool so I don't think you'd need them there but I've never done a water park. I haven't even booked a room or air and I'm already buying sticker books for kids.....and thinking of what to take and how to make the luggage smaller and lighter....

I'm back from the Doctor.

Had an ultrasound. It went very well. "Beautiful" was the quote from the Dr. I have to go back May 10 to make sure one thing is fine but she said not to worry. There is a small chance I may have to have outpatient surgery when we return from Florida.

I had myself in a "tizzy" all the way there. I love my brothers but I'm not ready to join them in heaven just yet. I always have very low blood pressure. It is usually 86/64. Today it was 140/70  It has never been that high! I think I was a bit nervous.:hyper:

So, guess what we are doing. GOING TO DISNEY WORLD! Okay, we already had that planned but I just wanted to say that.

I'm gonna "live it up" this trip and thank God I have a healthy family.

Thank you so much for all of your thoughts and prayers.

DD has a slight fever and a cough so I'll pass some along to her.

:wave2:  :sunny:  :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Ok, now that I have upgraded to concierge what do I do? I upgraded about three weeks ago and have heard nothing! This is our first trip to WDW and I have been reading the Unoffcial Guide and bought a passporter, but I think I am just as confused about what I need to do.

I have not made any PS because I am not sure where to go. I have two DS, 7 and 11 years old. I don't think they will be into the character stuff too much, but I want something fun for a couple of meals. We are going for seven days but do not know how you could know in advance what you will feel like doing for meals each day?!?

Help, I am a blubbering mess!!

One more question. We had originally wanted to stay at the BC but it was full so we are staying YC. Sould I stick with YC or try to change later? We have two boys that act like typical boys and I wasn't sure which would suit us better. The CM said to try about week before we left to see if there were cancellations. Thanks!!!

Great news floridafam !! So glad to hear your appointment went well!!!! :D :D

Ummmm. . . I just thought I'd let y'all know that you are all torturing me! LOL! I'm starting to plan my next trip, and since I'll be leaving my Disney-hating husband at home, I was planning on downgrading to moderate.

*However*. . . . all the Concierge talk is making me drool! :teeth: It reminds me of a cruise I once took, when everything was taken care of! Lovely!

My issue is, not spending all my "secret" emergency stash. . I'm a firm believer in women making sure they have access to their own money in case of "whatever". I think I'll up my savings goal for the year, so I can go Concierge and *still* have some leftover!

Go for the YC-We too wanted BC but ended up in YC. It really is not as stuffy (adult) as people would lead you to believe. They even have a TV area a small tables and chairs for the kids to play and eat at. We loved the YC-our new favorite.

Still wondering if anyone can tell me about the Dolphin Concierge Club....

sr6888 - Welcome! I don't know the email or phone for YC CL, but somebody will post it, I'm sure. You probably need to contact them, they don't always get the info from CRO right away.

My sons really loved the Sci Fi, and all my kids thought it was hilarious to see Daddy have to eat his green beans at '50's Prime Time! We also love to do Crystal Palace, the Pooh characters are there, if your boys like Tigger. San Angel Inn at Epcot is great, you get to eat next to the volcano on El Rio del Tiempo. My kids enjoyed Tony's Town Square when younger, we tried to hit that everytime. Ohana's at the Poly and Whispering Canyon at WL are great fun for young fellas. Any more suggestions needed? I've got a ton of favorites, as you can see!!;) Oh, and you are right, it is hard to know exactly what you will want to eat, so with CL, you can usually have them change it the day of or the day before, if you change your mind. This probably wouldn't work for CRT, or Hoop De Doo, but most others you can do this. A little secret, DD and I tend to schedule our park time around our eating schedule! Shhh, don't tell anyone!

blowinbubbles - Welcome to you, too! Sorry to make you dip into your savings!! I know the feeling, I've tried CL, now we are hooked! We've booked a trip for this summer, and I tried to convince myself to go "budget" but couldn't make it stick! That CL is hard to give up!!::yes::

DF - I can probably make it on the 22, there are still flights available for that day, and we would still be at WDW for DD's birthday the 27.::yes::

Just a question.

Is anyone else have communication problems with the WL/Poly IPO office?

For example, I'll send them an e-mail with 3 questions. I receive a response with one of the questions answered. The rest is just gone.

Just curious what your experiences are lately.

floridafam - a couple pages back, several posters stated that they had not received a response from IPO for some of the resorts. A later poster responded that they finally got a response from IPO, who stated that they were having trouble with their email mailbox for WL/Poly. HTH!:sunny:

k&a&c'smom,

That was me. I finally heard back from them but their e-mails just don't seem to answer the questions I ask in other e-mails.

It's hard to explain. I'll ask about something, how much it costs and when I have to order it. I'll get a response back telling me when I have to order it but not how much it costs.

I'm just curioys if this has been happening to anyone else?

I emailed Melissa @ Poly IPO several days ago but didn't get a response from her. I had read on here that they were having email trouble so I waited a few more days but just sent another email this morning. I asked about the Fantasmic dinner package cost etc. so it will be interesting to see if all of my questions are answered. Is it possible to call them directly if they are still having problems with email?
