Hi:

I know disney is a busy vacation but how many nights makes a more relaxed holiday. I was looking at 9 nights.

Deb.

9 nights is perfect. I've found that 7 nights isn't enough, so we're doing 8 nights for our next trip (it's in 3 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!). We've done 10 nights before, and that was incredible! The more nights, the less rushing around you have to do.

i like doing shorter more frequent visits with the goal of visiting one or two parks. 5-6 days with a lot of resort time during non-busy times 3-4x a year. no reason a longer visit wouldn't be relaxing though. i like a slow pace and think that makes for a nice visit.

We do 7 nights at DL, we are planning 10 nights for WDW (actually 14, but a few nights not spent at Disney).

I'd agree with the above poster at 9 nights. We did that last February and it was incredibly refreshing to know that we had lots of time to get to attractions. We didn't worry about hitting all the 'must dos' in 1 day since we had multiple days in each park.

We're actually doing 10 nights Oct 2014 so that we can have a 'rest day' right in the middle to kind of re-gas. That was the only thing we didn't have and wished we did.

I agree that 9 nights is good. We have gone for as little as 6 nights and as many as 11 nights. With that said, the more we go, the more time we spend at the resort than the parks so any number of nights is relaxing to us :goodvibes.

We used to do 7-8 nights, but the rooms/prices have gotten so expensive & we really wanted to stay at WL Courtyard Room Views this year, so we bumped ours down to 7 days/6 nights this year.

We are not newbies, so we don't feel rushed to see it all.
But I never suggest to my fellow buddies/co-workers that are taking their first visit, anything less than 7-9 nights on their first visits.

7-8 nights is my limit. I think it's because we stay in a moderate. If I had a villa I would be better. But this may sound mean but I need my space after a while. I love my children and SO but I just want to lay in bed and watch some tv without everyone near me. I could get a 2 bedroom condo but I don't want to stay off site.

We think 8 or 9 nights allows the vacation to be more relaxing. We are now on to doing 2 week trips, but anything beyond 7 nights allows you to know you have time to hit all the parks, and still have a second day to go back and do your favourite things again, or hit something you missed.

You don't have to go all out commando in the parks either, which is SO nice.

7-9 are perfect, any more and I'm Disneyed out, especially eating restaurant food....anything mess is not worth the travel expense....

7 nights/8 days. I could see adding on 1 more, but by then I'm Disney-ed out like Pepe said. If it were more, I'd add on Waterparks.

The more time you have the better 9 nights sounds perfect :thumbsup2
Some days we hit the parks early and other days we enjoy having time to relax at the resort or go shopping. For us the more time we have the less stressed we are to fit everything in.

We have 12 nights 13 days for our November trip can't wait :cloud9:

We've done 4 nights, 5 nights and 3 nights on our upcoming trip (visiting family and fitting in a quick visit) and it was never enough. I'm planning a large family trip with all newbies for next summer and think we'll need 7 nights to experience the 4 main parks, and at least one family wants to hop to Universal for a day.

We typically do 10 nights which is great, but on our last trip by night 8 our girls were ready to go home (but it was our 2nd 10 night trip inside of a year). So, for next year, I booked for only 9 nights, but may end up going back to 10 since they will have had a 16 month break. :goodvibes

We just stayed at POR for 10 nights in August. It was the absolute perfect vacation. We can't wait to do it again! :goodvibes
