Flying to MCO today from YYJ on Alaska with a stopover in Seattle. Apparently SeaTac airport was part of a cyberattack which they are still working through. Got an email from Alaska Airlines yesterday telling us that things are still being worked out and that the system outage affected sorting and delivery of bags to departing and connecting flights. The email advised us to avoid checking bags if possible. Unfortunately we have checked bags as we are going down for 4 weeks. If we had checked bags to have i.d. attached to the bags. Here's hoping all our luggage makes it. We have 2 days at POFQ before our cruise so even if they get left behind, I'm hopeful they'll get them to us before the cruise.
