How many men are wearing crocs?

I'm a guy that wears crocs everyday, but I don't think I would like them at the parks. I think I need a bit more support when I am going to be on my feet all day. BTW, I have two pairs of Crocs and one pair has the Mickey cutouts:earsboy:

My question to you is what the heck do you CARE what someone else looks like?

Do I care? I wouldn't really call it caring. I just look at someone in crocs and think to myself "That is the silliest combination of clothing I've seen in the last 10 minutes." Guess what. I'm allowed to think that. Crocs remind me of mumus.

Wear them or don't - but don't get mad at the people who are honest enough to say what they think about them. (and I'm talking in general to croc lovers - not the OP)

Would you rather people were all  "We just love your sense of individuality! You go with those crocs!"

And then all :rolleyes1 behind your back?

These are just honest reactions.

Amen, Aunt Polly..........best post yet.

LOL I am just quoting you because I want to see the words "auntpolly" and "best quote yet" again in another post! :lmao: (It's a rare thing when people agree with me!!)

Well AuntPolly (with the best post ever), I like you, and I'm pretty cool, so you got one friend.

People have other reasons for wearing them than comfort you know.

My feet sweat something horrible in tennis shoes. But not in Crocs because they're vented. So I wear the crocs.

I didn't realize that people were so judgmental over shoe choice :confused3

I didn't realize that people were so protective of their shoe choice. :confused3
We are just joking around. Wear what you want.

I personaly wouldn't wear them let alone walk around with my whole family wearing them.

My DH wears them all summer everywhere he goes but to work (because he is in management and has a dress code).

We are both SO PAST that whole 'fashion" thing. Comfort is important - especially at WDW.

I can not stand my feet to be hot and when I am at WDW I wear flip flops or sandals and by the end of the day my feet and legs were killing me. With crocs (the beach type is what I usually wear) they have enough ventalation that my feet stay pretty cool - and very comfortable.

Can anyone tell me if the Crocs are good for those men with large feet? I wear a size 13 shoe and have a wide foot so I sometimes have issues finding shoes that fit well. I am hoping the crocs can accomodate my large feet.

GreyStr0ke - what are you wearing on your head in your picture? That has got to be more embarassing than wearing a pair of crocs in public!

:lmao:

;) Just Kidding!!!

I'm a guy and wouldn't be caught dead in them. I don't understand the craze for them. They are very unappealing. They should be used for working in your garden or something. From a fashion standpoint, they are just not fashionable at all.

Though, what do I know, I'm a guy. I take my tips from my brother the Metro-Sexual (or whatever they're called these days).

Dude, you mentioned "fashion standpoint". When has any guy worried about "fashion standpoint". Some guys find them comfortable. Who cares what they look like. They feel great after taking off my combat boots.

I dont wear them now. It's 20 degrees with more snow on the way.

My hubby wears a size 13 and he loves his Crocs! His foot isn't particularly wide, but I think you should be fine.

:rotfl2: Fair enough. However, That picture is formatted so that you dont see what I'm drinking. :lmao:

I am a firm believer that Crocs are only ugly to people who don't have them. I used to think they were ugly, too. Now, I wish I had every color and style!

I am hoping DH wears them on our trip.....he doesn't own a pair and says he doesn't want them, YET he wears mine all the time!!!!

Some of y'all (I am a southern belle) brought up a point of crocs making your feet sweat and smell. When I bought them I thought it would be the opposite for my middle son who has a TERRRIBLE problem with that. I assumed the holes would make them airout without all the sweating. I had him to the podiatrist last week and he said to spray his feet with deoderant/antipersperint(spell check LOL) He said spray would help with the sweat glands like underarms. I am going to get him to try this with his crocs.

I also had a funny name I call my crocs I call them my "poppy crocs" the some time pop when I walk on certain surfaces.

I bought a pair of size 13 navy ones for DH. He tried them on once - barely - I do know they fit though. I think they still have the tag on them and are in his computer room somewhere. I keep trying to convince him of how comfy they are.

He's more interested in his New Balance running shoes!

My DH or DS wouldn't be caught dead wearing those things! I wouldn't want my DH or DS wearing them either. To be honest the only men I saw wearing them at WDW were kind of dorky looking to begin with so Crocs didn't affect their appearance much! LOL!

My DH wears a size 13 as well. He doesn't wear the beach model, but the one that is closed on top with the holes on the side. He got the largest pair he could find and they were fine for him.
