How many laps is a mile on the top deck?

Does anyone know how many laps around the top deck of the Magic equal a mile? We will be crusing end of November and would like to keep up our walking that we've been doing.

At least on the Wonder, Deck 4 goes all the way around the ship (without obstacles) and I believe it was either 3 or 4 laps to make a mile.

One lap all the way around deck 4 is not quite 1800 feet, so 3 laps would be about a mile. Both ships are over 900 feet long, but you don't go all the way forward, or aft, on the jogging track.

The jogging/walking track is on deck 4, not the top deck (deck 10).

Deck 4 is a better deck to take your walks on. Deck 9 does not go all the way around and you'll have to deal with people at the pools or drink station. Deck 4 makes a continuous loop around the ship and is much more suitable for exercise-type walking or jogging.

So the answer to the original question of "How many laps is a mile on the top deck?" is We Don't Know. There are more "obsticals" (sorry for the spellin') up on deck 10. and it does not go as far forward or aft as the deck for track does.

something for runners/walkers to keep in mind; the deck four track is closed when the ship is entering or leaving a port which may interfere with early morning routines.

This is great to know and hadn't asked. We walk 4 miles a day and would love to keep it up early in the morning.
