How many family memers can go on bus with scooter?

3 spots also made it difficult for loading, especially for ECV users. The setup was the 2 spots on the driver side of the bus, like the ‘2 spot’ buses, with the 3rd spot on the other side of the aisle right in front of the ramp.
Parkin an ECV in the 3rd spot could be problematic even for experienced people because It was the opposite of everything they were used to.
My daughter was a wheelchair passenger at least twice with 2 ECVs that I recall. One time, we were in the back space and the 3rd person was parking in the spot on the opposite side. He looked like he might hit my DD’s wheelchair several times and he did hit into the other ECV at least once - then the driver took over and parked his ECV. Another time, we were directed to the third spot, but the ECV driver in the spo directly opposite to our spot was not close to the wall. Because DD has a narrow and light wheelchair, we made it in, but it was tight.
So, that 3rd spot appeared to be more trouble than it was worth.
There were a few buses that we got one where one was on the left and one was on the right, even the bus drivers hated these and most of them asked if we could transfer and they could park them for us, which we gladly did.

Why didn't they just load the spot on the passenger side first?

This one was at OKW, where there are multiple bus stops. The person with the ECV who was on the passenger side loaded at the last stop while the other 2 spots were already filled at earlier stops.

The driver should have had the passenger side filled first, is what I meant :)
