How many DVCs will be trying to book CCV at 8am on the 26th?

I found availability by going to Find Destinations > Copper Creek > View Rooms (blue button) > Check Availability with date search is there. There are some things I searched that didn't have full availability for the dates I was checking so I'm thinking it is accurate

I think it is accurate, as it keeps changing. October open so far for 2BR (dedicated)and 1BR. But studios are booking up.

Only Studios Left are Oct 1-5. and Oct 20-26. Same dates gone for 2BR lock offs.

I've tried the other day to book( knowing it wouldn't work) and once I got to the picture where I can choose resort, type of room, number of guests then the CCV was not an option to the resort and type of room was filled out.

Or maybe I'm doing it wrong?

Well, if this option does show the correct availability. All rooms are available during the time I am looking to book.

I think the online option will be available tomorrow. However, there is a note on the Members' website that says it won't be avaiable between 4:30 AM and 9 AM Eastern (when MS opens). My only concern about the website will be load - if enough members go online at the same time, it might crash. We'll see, I guess. I'm expecting busy phone lines for MS all day.

ME! I was banking on booking online but now I guess that won't work. Of course the day this opens is the one and only field trip for my kids and I'm chaperoning. We're leaving the school at 8:30 so I'll be commuting instead of booking

What do you think the better bet will be, phone or online? I would have to risk canceling my reservation and then booking a new one online. Not thrilled with that option.

I feel I need to do phone and online at same time somehow. I do not trust either option to work, but online might be less people, since people shifting from another location would be more likely to call. And I think more than 1/2 of the people trying to book are people trying to switch, not new reservations. But, who knows? I am very nervous.

Thanks, i hadn't seen that until now. I bet the website will see heavy load at 9am. IF Disney were smart they would re-open the website before 9am at least to take some of the pressure. Currently most people expect to be able to book at 9am, so maybe it won't matter after 9am anyway.

I would still try online. Try before 9am maybe Disney opens up before - if not keep trying like everyone else. I wouldn't call because so many would do that and you would need to wait a long time on the phone.

I would call. Normally you can do the cancel/rebook thingy online but since the site would see heavy load and risk going down you have the higher risk of loosing you current ressi. OTOH if you have enough points to have both reservations you could just try for the new one first, once that is booked you could cancel the first one. Then maybe tomorrow you can call ms and relocate the points if needed.

Well that's also an option - since I'm at work at that time that wouldn't work for me. Guess you have a point some people are headed for work at that time and they would need to call at least if they go by car.

How did the opening go in the past for poly, aulani and vgf? Did they make the website crash?

Well, the phones were a complete mess on the day they opened up booking for the Soarin' tour, so I have some concerns. Maybe they did expect that, though. They must realize today will be a crush.

I cannot even sign in, are others able to at least get that far?
