your Christmas decor is DISNEY???? We are decorating tonight and I just had to pop in and post this. I have TONS Of Disney ornaments that I have collected for over 20 years. There used to be a company named Grolier and I got my Disney ornament start with them. It was club that you joined like a book of the month club. I absolutely LOVE getting the Disney decorations out. I have several Jim Shore Disney figurines too that I put out. :cloud9:

I can't pass the Christmas store in MK or at DTD without buying something. :rolleyes1 When we lived in Japan 1994-98 I put up two trees. The smaller tree was our Disney tree. However now we have a BIG tree and so we only put one up . I would say 90% of our tree is DISNEY. :santa: We could easily fill two BIG trees with all the Disney ornaments. :santa:

Do you get the dated ornaments that they come out with each year? WE DO!!!

We didn't have a tree last year because we were out of town over the holidays. I told my guys that if they wanted decorations it would be up to them. I wasn't putting any up. I've gots tons of Disney decorations, but I'm just not in the mood to put anything up. I get stuck taking it all down, too.

We're leaving for a short trip on Jan 6 for the marathon, so that will be Christmas for us this year. We've got a big trip planned in a GV for our son and nine of his closest friends for graduation in June. Then we take him to Montana in August to start college. I don't really need a big Christmas celebration.

No need for tears.

I notice that each and every year, the Christmas tree has more and more Disney ornaments. We always buy one for each vacation we take and buy the kids a Hallmark ornament - which for the last 2 years have been Disney themed. When we were there in October, it took all my strength not to buy the Christmas store at MK out (as a side note, I am a Christmas freak:santa:). We'll be pulling out the decorations tomorrow - can't wait!

That sounds like a fun trip for your son and his friends. :)

We have several Disney ornaments picked up mostly from WDW during past trips. Several Disney christmas plush characters which really perks up the rooms.

And my favorite Disney Christmas items....our Christmas Mickey dishes!

Happy Holidays!

All but two of the ornaments I have on my tree or Disney ornaments (the non Disney are one for the Broadway show Rent and a Tom and Jerry ornament). I collect Goofy Christmas ornament, and I have 60 different ornaments that are just Goofy, plus about 10 others that are Goofy and someone else. The rest of my ornaments are assorted characters.

I also put out stuffed Santa Goofy and Mickey, and some beanie babies, a couple of Jim Shore pieces, and a Goofy Nutcracker.

This year, I got light up Mickey Mouse heads at Walgreens for $7 to put in my window.

We put up two large trees, one in the living room and one in the sunroom...they are both 90% Disney. The one in the living room also has some ornaments the girls made. Our girls also have a pink tree in their room which is all Disney...princess and pooh and the gang. Finally in my kitcken I have a china cupboard with my Dopey figurines I collect and on top of that I have my two plush Santa Dopeys.

I love the Christmas stores at MK and DTD also and every year we do buy the yearly ornament and we also each get a new one every year. For the last four Christmases we have had those be Disney also...plus I push the love onto others because I LOVE the mouse ears ornaments and the different things they come up with!!!!:santa:

No decorations up at our house yet...not while DD is still in the hospital. Whenever she gets out of here, our family will decorate together. We haven't been together as a family for almost a month now, so decorating together will be extra special. :cloud9:

We have two trees that we usually put up...our bigger one, covered with all types of ornaments. We have a smaller one that DISer "Feralpeg" set up in our room at AKV the year we stayed there over Xmas. Hopefully, our two kitties will behave themselves around our trees this year. :cat::cat:

Btw, can't wait to see your tree Denise! :wave2:

I bought the tree yesterday. It's a little one this year as it's just the three of us. Plus, we're spending 12 nights at WDW starting in 8 days. We'll see plenty of decorations!

decorated our tree yesterday since my son had to fly back to school today......we also have many disney ornaments...purchase one each year...a disney tree topper and skirt...plus many other disney christmas decorations

I haven't decorated yet, but I don't think I have any Disney decorations. Maybe one ornament? It is sort of like separation of church and state ;) - I love going to Disney, but it's not my style for home decor.

Finished decorating the tree today and yes it does have a lot of disney ornaments. The tree is decorated with ornaments we have bought every year for the kids from hallmark and ornaments from visits to WDW over the years. (they are 22 & 24)

Plus I have a lot of Jim Shore Disney figurines too. I love his work. I was disappointed when I heard he was going to be in Epcot on Sat. We arrive on Monday.:sad2:

Been busy trying to get every thing decorated before we leave, that way everything is done when we arrive back home for Christmas and I can just relax and enjoy. :santa:

We too have alot of Disney Decorations from our trips. Unfortunately we had a house fire this past August and our Minnie Topper had very heavy smoke and soot damage so will be replacing it on our trip in 13 days. Most of our decorations were in the loft in the garage thank goodness.....Shawnpirate:

Have fun.. I AM SO JEALOUS!!! I want to go again in Dec. It has been many years since we were there in Dec. We have done 4 Thanksgiving trips and get to see the decorations, but I would love to go the first or 2nd week of Dec. again.

We did ours this weekend too because our daughter had to get back to school too. Plus hubby leaves next weekend for 2 weeks in Utah. I love to put my tree up the weekend of Thanksgiving.

So DD 10 and I are the Christmas people in the family --DH tolerates it. DD has her own 3' tree that she has a collection of Disney, Sesame Street, and other holiday characters on. The family tree is 20 plus years of Hallmark, vacation spots, and homemade. I would say our tree is about 1/3 Disney at this point, and in fact DH agreed this year that we could get a prelit tree for the living room to put the excess ornaments on!:cool1: For some reason a couple of years ago I went off the deep end on Grinch and Pooh ornaments:confused3 Last year we had to be selective...this year everything goes up!
We do have other Disney holiday stuff as well -- decorations, dishes, etc. :rolleyes1 Unlike a previous poster sometimes I think WDW <has> become my church!
