How many DVC folks would like/use an AP payment plan like FL residents get now??

OMG I'm hoping they won't offer it. If they did I won't have any excuse not to buy APS again for all five of us :rotfl:

I have no objection to a payment plan option although I wouldn't use it personally.

My husband and 2 sons are using the Salute Tickets this trip next month. He is getting 6 and each of them will have 2. Our dd and I are just getting 9 day park hoppers at SOG. It comes out cheaper than AP's because we are not sure about when our next trip will be and if EVERYONE will be on that next trip. DD will be 20 in Oct. DS 17 and DS 11 (well we know he will LOL).

I was told it is "one per person" only. Is this info wrong, or are you just choosing to use 2 per person anyway, and do you know for sure that they can be activated that way? If one person can indeed use multiple tickets we may rethink our intended AP purchase for our grandson, who is living with us while my DD is deployed.

I think if you live at the same residence....he can. Correct me if I am wrong someone. I think if his I.D. has the same address as your I.D. maybe??
I believe that is incorrect. I could be wrong, but I think it has to be an immediate family member living at the same address - a fiance or SO would not be an immediate family member.

The requirements are clearly spelled out in the AP info, so it should be easy to check.

Well there are a couple of threads on here discussing this and Cheshire Figment who is a CM that posts stuff about ALL THINGS to do with park passes said that it doesn't say ANYWHERE that you can't. Several people have done this. It is the same thing as buying 3 say for a July trip and then going again in Sept. using the other 3. There have been several threads going about these passes and that was discussed on there too.

My daughter would find this useful too as she is a famil of 5 and buy all of her APs at the same time. My DH and I stagger our AP purchase. I'm a fall person and he's a spring and that's when we renew each year. This works great for us since we are always there in spring and fall for 2 weeks each trip, plus we do a few trips in between those trips. So paying monthly is not a big deal for us.

I'm in for a payment plan. I have a family of 4 and starting our next trip we start paying for another ticket so this would definitely help!

Oh that is a good idea with the staggering. Someone posted on here a couple of years ago that they buy 1 AP Voucher every 6 months so she always has them to activate for whoever needs them in her family.

For sure!!! We don't get the PAP because of the huge cost for our family. A monthly plan would be fantastic and would probably prompt us to add on and visit more often!!

I would love it, shelling out our money for 2 AP's is rough:scared1:
Luckily we still get the DVC discount...Well I do, my fiance wont until we're married, is that right?

Sorry but a fiance isn't family yet. ;)

Per the MS website:

Walt Disney World Annual Pass Savings
Disney Vacation ClubMembers and their immediate family (living in the same household) are eligible to receive discounts on select new and renewed Walt Disney World Annual and Premium Annual Passes.

FAQ: Who is defined as "immediate family"?
"Immediate family" is defined by Walt Disney World Resort for discount purposes as noted below: Spouse/Registered Domestic Partner, Parent/Step Parent, Mother-In-Law/Father-In-Law, Child/Step Child, Brother/Stepbrother, Sister/Stepsister, Brother-In-Law/Sister-In-Law, Grandparent, and Grandchild.

I would be much more likely to get APs every year if we were able to pay for it with payments.

Thanks, I had a feeling fiance wasnt entitled to discount yet.

I'd like that.. I do as Molly says..budget a set amount each payday that goes into an account that is specifically for DVC dues and APs..but if we had a payment plan (with no additional fees or anything) I'd use it.

I would definitely like a payment plan for our annual passes!! Disney please hear our plea!! Open the plan up to all of us DVC members too!

:thumbsup2 I would definitely be on board with monthly payments for AP's.

I would definitely use it, but I wouldn't want it to replace the discounted AP price we presently receive. As others have said, it's a huge chunk to lay out at once. Other than FL residents, I would think that DVC members are the biggest group using AP's. It would be a nice option.

Please Please Disney hear our cries:worship:

I would love to able to participate. Don't they realize how many DVCrs go more than once a year.

We would love that option! We are a family of five and don't even consider AP's because of the expense but we would do it with a payment plan. Disney would see us twice a year as opposed to once and that's more money in their pocket. Sounds like a good deal for Disney and DVC members.:wizard:

I am praying that they do extend it to DVC members. Buying for 4 is a huge chunk of change to shell out at once.
