So first off, thank you everyone on the boards for all you do and contribute. This forum and the camping at Disney are my two favorites.

Now to my discussion for today, for those of you that have cruised DCL numerous times, have you gotten bored/tired with it or do you still love them just as much? If you have gotten tired of them, at what point did that set in for you?

So far we've done two 3 night Bahama's cruises on the Dream, one September of last year and then another January of this year (which the January one was because we just couldn't stand to wait until our one we have scheduled for September of this year). Our second one was even better than the first one which is hard to say because the first one blew us away. Besides our one we have scheduled for September of this year we rebooked onboard in January for one on Black Friday this year so we could experience a christmas cruise.

At this point, it's safe to say we're addicted to DCL but just thought this would be a good discussion topic and I'm curious to hear what others have to say. Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a good week ahead!

I'll have to let you know (and that may be a while coming). We've not gotten tired of them yet.

Hmm, hard to know yet, 12 for sure is not enough. 2 years ago we were on the Magic with a couple who were celebrating their 50th Disney Cruise, that's my new goal.

We have been on all 4 ships over 17 Disney Cruises and aren't sick of them yet. Some old things we miss, some new things we like (or don't like), but every cruise is still a great experience. At about ages 11 and 14 our DSs decided they didnt care about the parks anymore and just wanted to cruise.

We have #18 booked for this summer and a place holder waiting to be changed to summer of 2017 for #19...provided they don't out price us by then. So, I guess my answer is when we can no longer justify the price is when we will stop cruising DCL.

Haha, sounds like us. We said that we wanted to be platinum by the end of next year. I'm trying to talk myself out of booking another one right now so that we're Gold going into 2017 lol My wife's been trying to talk me into adding a 3 night to the front of our 4 night in September for a back to back but I just asked her, "Are you sure we're going to able to last till September?" lol

Just being honest, we just "jumped ship" after our 6th. Reached Gold, it was a good cruise but it was too familiar. So for the first time, we didn't rebook on board and have decided to try something new this fall and are going on a different cruise line. I actually hope all that does is confirm what I believe, that Disney is the very best in Cruising however I do feel they need to mix it up more for their repeat cruisers. Not sure how easy or hard that is but it is what I feel as a loyal customer. Been on the Magic, Dream and Fantasy...

For us, we're ready to give something new a try after four. I wouldn't say that it's because we're bored but with the kids being older, we're willing to give something else a try. Truthfully, cost is also an issue. I am certain four won't be it for us but we will take a few years off from DCL and then re-evaluate. In the meantime, we will try another cruise line.

As a Platinum cruiser, I'm not tired of DCL and look forward to many more. I am thankful to them as well. I found that cruising is something I love to do. Without them I would never had tried a Viking European River cruise. I'm now totally 100% addicted to Viking as well.

That's what we're excited about is that there are so many opportunities out there. While I can't take 14 days off for a transatlantic cruise or Panama Canal right now, it's definitely on the bucket list.

We are doing #3 this spring. Tried a different cruise line and it just wasn't the same. We've only gone on the Dream, but after seeing shows on the Magic and Wonder we are anxious to try those.

We have done 12, and have a placeholder booked that we will likely use, but will spend 2017 on an RCCL cruise maybe sneaking in a last minute Celebrity cruise or another RCCL trip too.

For us the increased prices made it not worth it for us next year. Since we cruise so often, everything is familiar to us and we have run out of new things to do and have seen most if not all of the current entertainers and would love to see some different ports. We still love the product, but wanted to try something new and different, and we'll save some money too. Had we only done a handful of DCL cruises, 2017 probably would have been DCL.

On our cruise last summer, one person in our meets group was on DCL cruise #56. Perhaps by now they are at 58?, 60? They clearly love it! Of course, at that level the experience is different. You actually really get to know some staff pretty well and become friends with some.

Blasphemy I say, blasphemy!!!! Never enough DCL cruises for some of us!!! I am at 34 DCL with 35 this August but I don't know if I can wait that long so may have to sneak another one soon! Been on all 4 ships numerous times and I never tire of them. Also have 7 on other cruise lines so I have compared them.

MJ,

I'm with you. We have only had time for 12 so far, 1 more in May and another in December, would like to be doing more than that. We have done RCCL, Celebrity, Carnival, Louis, NCL and Princess, some more than once. Some have been cheaper, some more expensive, some for unique itineraries but all because this is a way we love to vacation. DCL is our favorite, preferred and most entertaining; love the ships, the food and the crew. Yep, heading for 50 cruises.
