How many different supermarkets do you shop at regularly?

I go to Kroger every week for the bulk of our groceries. I hit Target about every other week for household stuff. Stop-in's at Aldi, Lucky's, Trader Joes or Sam's Club for specific things or super great sales.

1 - FoodsCo (a Kroger affiliate)

They have lower prices by far than any of the other markets in my area. Their regular prices often beat other store's sale prices.

I used to go to multiple stores picking up the front-page loss leader sales, particularly meat. But I learned over time that I can get all those prices (or better) eventually at FoodsCo, so I just fill my freezer/pantry when they put stuff on sale, then wait for the next one. It was just a waste of gas to drive to other places. I also believe my time is worth more than the few pennies I might save here and there on a couple of items if I ran from store to store.

The only time I go to other stores is when I forget to buy it on my regular shopping trip and I can't make due without, which is a very rare occurrence. But in those cases, since FoodsCo is 8 miles and loads of weekday traffic away, I will suck it up and pay higher prices at the grocery store or Target just a mile from home.

Two. Possibly three, but not often. We do the big Costco run, and then fill in with Walmart (across town). I tend to choose the store with the best overall prices and stick with that. I figure it averages out. Every once in a while we need a couple things so we go to the Safeway right down the street.

I hate supermarkets - did over 2 years not going to one and spent a lot less. Now I have to shop for my elderly parents so I go to one store once a week but still try to get out fresh food from a proper butcher/greengrocer etc.

I primarily use 2. There are 3 others I will occasionally stop at, but that's typically for something very specific the main ones don't have. The main ones I use both price match, so I don't need to go to 5 or 6 stores to get the best deals.

2.
Every Sunday starts with a trip to the Neighborhood Walmart for everything but meat.
Then a stop at the locally owned chain, for meat and most produce. Starting to buy more produce at Walmart, seems there produce is getting better while the local chains is getting worse. Why would I pay $1.25 for an avocado at the chain story when the same avocado, from the same supplier is 38 cents at Walmart?

I usually shop at Target and Giant each week, and go to BJs when I have a bunch of things I need. All of them are within five minutes of my house so it's not far. There are several other supermarkets in my area but I rarely go there, unless there's something I know I can't find at the other stores, or if there's an amazing loss leader.

We do most of our grocery shopping at Kroger. Then we hit Target (household and personal care items), the Indian grocery and Costco every few weeks depending on our needs.

Mainly, I shop a locally owned chain, but Walmart has some things they don't and I kind of have a small addiction to the fruit in a bowl at Albertson's. . .

1. HEB- my other choices, Wal Mart SuperCenter, Albertsons, WM Corner Market, are seriously inferior to HEB.

45% Kroger (usually household/beverages/staples)
45% Meijer (produce/pets/meats)
10% spread out between Costco/Trader Joe's/Aldi/Lucky's. Each of those have specific items we like and pick up when in the area.
0% Target/Walmart unless we are on vacation. Can get what we need cheaper elsewhere.

Aldi, Costco,Bj's,Price Chopper, Price Rite, Trader Joes, Stop &Shop,Whole Foods...on a sort of schedule based on items needed,in descending order of importance. Some of them more than weekly, some every few months.

Depends on what I am looking for. Some things I can not find at the local chain so i have to go to another store to get it. I mainly shop at Safeway.

Most all of them! We buy the majority of our groceries at Costco or SAMs club. In one month we generally have one visit to each.

For just a couple items we go to Ingles, which is the closest to our home.

For a bigger but non club trip we go to Super Walmart which is about 10 minutes away.

For just a couple items right after work or picking up kids we go to Walmart Neighborhood Market, which is nearby to the kids school.

We don't shop sales or anything, just use the club stores to save money, buying the vast majority of our groceries there.

Oh, we also go to a produce stand that sells local milk. All of our grocery savings is blown here buying 5 Gallo s a week or local organic milk!

Aldi's for most things. Walmart for some food items but mostly pet food and cleaning supplies. Occasionally, Kroger. I get fresh eggs from a neighbor and do a CSA for local, fresh produce.

There are 4 different ones - if coming from work or doing a big trip on the weekends I go to Kroger, Meijer or even Walmart. We have a smaller local grocery store just a couple minutes from our house where we buy all of our meat and fruits from plus use for quick trips.

I do my major shopping at Walmart on the other side of town and price match probably 6-8 stores each week on most of what I buy. I also shop Aldi and will run to Meijer if I need something quick since they are each about 1 mile from our house.

I do all my shopping at Target. On very rare occasions I go to the Publix that's right next to my neighborhood.

We tried doing that about the time all the butchers and produce stands closed. We do have the farmers markets though, but they seem to have shifted their items from food to things like art and dream catchers.
