How Many Days Needed to Enjoy DLP?

I am in the very early stages of planning a trip to France, and want to include a trip to DLP. How many days are needed to fully enjoy what DLP has to offer? Merci!

Depends how many in your group .
With small kids you may need a bit longer but 2 days is about right IMHO .

Obviously depends on the time of year. In October Half Term it was very busy.... We had 2 and a half days in the parks which was about right.
1 day studios (end of day had a few hours in the DLP).
1 and a half days DLP. We returned home after the half day by eurostar.
If you were wanting to do other things in the evening (village etc.) and enjoy your hotel more... you may even want longer.

We went in sep which as really quiet for 5 days which was loads of time. I'd say 1 day for studios and 2 for the main park to get the best without being rushed.

Hi wdwjunkie2005 and welcome to DLP DIS board

We have tended to facter in more days as it means you can take the parks at a more leisurely pace.
The suggestion of 1 for Studios and 2 for Disneyland Park are good for starters. If necessary I'd drop the Studios if your time was limited.

Another consideration is mid-week or weekend. If you have a look at the trip reports of others you'll see that parks can be very busy at week-ends and therefore queue times rise accordingly.

I go for 5 days staying on the resort, however i think it depends on the time of year as in low season they is less crowds so you can do everything quicker.

We went in March. We had one full day at the CL park. Then on our next day, we went to the Studios until an hour before they closed, then went to DL for the last few hours. It was enough, esp. since there was all of Paris to see on the same trip.

Thank you for your help, everyone! I think I'll plan three days total: one per park and one day to catch up with anything I missed.

I have some more questions:

#1: Is DLP one park and the Studios another? If so, what is the entire place called, including the two parks and the hotels? Want to get my terminology correct. I hate it when people say they are going to Disney World when they really mean the Magic Kingdom and don't get that Disney World encompasses all 4 theme parks and the water parks, etc. Semantics, I know, but it bugs me just the same!

#2: I'm considering going in late April or early May. When are the kids over there on vacation/holiday from school? In the States, they have a break in the middle of April and then they recess for summer in late June, so if I were going to WDW in FL, that's when I'd want to go.

#3: What hotel do you recommend? I definitely want to stay on Disney property.

#4: For those of you who have gone who are from the US: How do prices compare to those at WDW?

Hi, The whole place is known as disnely land resort and it consists of two parks.
The larger one is deineyland park and is the one you should spend most of your trip especally if you have young children.

The other is disney studios and has fewer rider however it has lots of great shows, The car stunt show is excellent. I usally spend about 4 hours here.

They is also a disney village with resturants and shops which is free to enter.



They are six hotels and they vary in price so it depends on your budget. I stayed at the New york hotel both times i went to disneyland paris which is a lovely hotel and very close to the disney village. The disneyland hotel looks lovely and is right next to the park which is good if you've got children.

When you book into your hotel you are given maps of the park so i would have a look at them and plan what you really would like to do. Especally with the studio as alot of the attraction are timetabled as they are shows.

Not been to wdw yet! However planing a trip soon as possible. Been looking at the brochures and prices do vary depending on hotel and packages. One thing that i notice though is hotel stay does not include tickets which really bumps the price up.

1, The whole place including the village and all the hotels is called DISNEYLAND RESORT PARIS.

2, The children in the UK have a weeks break on the last week of May. There is a link somewhere with the french school holidays.

3, If you are adults alone I would reccomend Hotel New York or with children the Hotel Santa Fe
The Santa Fe is my new plan for may as the theming looks great.

4, I havnt been for a long time so I will leave that for someone else
