Only about four days and four hours for me!
Interesting that the walking route looks much closer to a straight line than the driving route I take, but it is actually farther. According to the site, it is 303 miles to walk from my town, versus only 286 to drive. Weird. There must be lots of tiny digressions that really add up on the walking route, which is almost completely different from the driving route.

Sure would be interesting to know what assumptions Google is making in figuring the walking time. I thought there might be a link that would explain it, but if there is, I couldn't find it.
If I select the driving option but check "Avoid highways," it gives me a route that is five miles shorter -- but adds two hours to the drive! Goes from fours and 17 minutes to six hours and 15 minutes. Of course, add two or three stops in there, as we always need, and it winds up taking roughly five hours to drive in the real world.
Some people like to take a driving route other than the interstate because they think there's more to see. Not in my case. I drove the "back way" to WDW once two or three years ago because I thought it might be faster and there'd be more to see. Wrong on both counts. The only thing there was more of to see, for the most part, were red lights and 35-mph speed limit signs. Never again!
