How long will Disney Reservations be down?

I went to check on the Poly for 3 days in August. Disney system showed availability for a standard room at the low, low price of $9,248. Yes, that is NINE THOUSANDS dollars!

I just checked for the last week of August and the Polynesian shows no availability. However Wilderness Lodge is at $1005 a night which will never happen even if it is a steal in comparison.

No need to worry though. The travel agent many of use will come to the rescue selling rooms at the Poly at a 98% discount. Disney will sell them for $9,000 and our travel agent will sell them for $220 per night.

I'm still holding out some hope that the FD rooms will pop back up at the Value resorts for the 4th week of August. I booked for the 2nd week but my DD got a job through the 10th and her friend moves into a new apartment on the 15th so we have to wait until the 19th or 20th.

Are they still down? Now instead of going next December we want to now go this December. I punch in the available dates and it shows " the resort is not eligible for this promotion yet it says AKL is.
And the other resorts, they are all sold out?

The page that was posted by @Minnesota! is the MAIN Disney page. If I click on "Disney World" in the upper left I get that kind of page. If I take my saved link to reservations I get the old page.

Try tweaking your dates. For example, on the FD promotion, there is nothing available for checkout Dec 23, but some mod options for checkout the 24th--staying one day more or less could cost 4 times as much if the less expensive options are sold out! We ended up booking our FD rooms checking in a day later than our flights because the availability was so much better. Still deciding whether to book the first night separately at the same resort or try a diff resort for one night, but either way is fine since we got the resort we wanted for less than half the cost of other options!

Just an FYI to those looking, the FD availability did reduce when reservations came back after the 'update' but the change was pretty consistent with the amount it has reduced every other week since the promotion came out. It is simply selling out--especially the lower-priced standard view rooms, mods, and values (most of which disappeared during the first day of booking).

Well. no ETA from Disney on when the reservation system will be up. And the phone lines are crazy packed. Is making WDW reservations always this bad?
