How long will Disney Reservations be down?

Just got off the phone with Disney Reservations. There are AP discounts still available but they aren't showing up online. You have to call if you want to book anything. I asked to be transferred to the tech department. That person had no idea there was an issue. My call was the first she had heard of it. She sent a "ticket" to IT letting them know that AP holders can't book discount rooms online. I was also told that AP room discounts were released today for September and October but I don't see them in "special offers" on my MDE. She said maybe that might be because of a "lag". Not sure what's going on, but it really is a mess at this point.

I thought it was strange as well so I asked a second time. Both the reservations CM and the tech CM told me the same thing. I thought I'd see it on the boards somewhere, but nothing, which makes me skeptical.

I think the promotion for annual passholder rooms ending August 31 came out about a month ago. I booked a room with it back in the middle of May.

So, is anyone seeing anything yet for FD? Prior to this upgrade there were rooms available at numerous resorts and now I see all resorts either no rooms available at this special or the resort doesn't qualify for the special.

I've been checking repeatedly and there are absolutely no rooms available during our time of travel. Like you, I was able to see lots of room availability prior to the scheduled "maintenance".

Really has me curious. Makes is seem like a major change in the works they haven't got fine tuned ....

I think most of us know which one it is.

You have to think that this is not only a software change / upgrade, but there has to be an element of hardware involved whether this be hosting, servers etc... for it to be so affected for so long beyond what was expected.

Not to mention, whatever changes have been made, they are not cosmetic are they? Nothing I've seen appears different on the site. Any one else see anything different? Or did they have to roll back from changes?

Usually the deluxe discounts are more than 15% tho unless it's a sign of things changing and discounts being substantially less. Wonder what the discounts were on value and moderate rooms.

I think Poly has been on the less discount side since the remodel pretty consistently fwiw.

The homepage is now the new design and earlier this afternoon I was prompted to do a survey on my website experience. I can't see that anything has changed cosmetically anyway on any other pages.

I see nothing different..they must have had to roll back. Or it was never meant to be a big change..it has been a big pain that is for certain.

Yes, on the phone today I asked about AP room discount availability in July and rooms were available at the three resorts I inquired about. Online, there's absolutely nothing.
