How long were you "Pending Verification"?

Just wondering. We completed our blankets and dropped them off on Sat. I know it is only Tues. but with the max being reached I am nervous about very little detail. So help me feel better, let me know how long it took for your "status" to change. Thanks!

I believe the program is no longer 'accepting' new volunteers for the promotion. If you're already accepted, then you have until the completion time initially allotted in the email confirming your acceptance in to the program (or confirming your volunteer program show-up time).

It varies and it depends on your organization. I received an email the day after thanking me for my service, then 3 days later I received my voucher. They do say it can take up to two weeks. As long as you were accepted into the volunteer position and had a completion date (which I am assuming is the day you dropped off the blankets...I did a different volunteer activity so I'm not sure how the blanket organizations work) then you are safe. It's only if you choose to have a new volunteer position.

I received my 'pending' email the day after we volunteered at the food shelter, and then our actual vouchers 7 days later. (this past Saturday) I was also nervous, and even emailed the event coordinator since we volunteered under our church's name, but signed up for GAD under our names. There were no hitches though. We are going on the 21st of the month, so we were cutting it close!

OP here, woke up to my voucher email in my mailbox this morning So that was four days after volunteering. Thanks for sharing, sorry to be a worry wart.

Same here, I volunteered Friday and Saturday, and the voucher email was in my mailbox this morning. I plan to use it for a FPX when I travel with a marching band in the middle of April, so I had plenty of time, but it was good to get it, print it, and file it with my other trip info!

It kind of surprises me that Disney does not appear to be considering extending the program. It costs them very little in the long run, it's great PR, and more importantly, the agencies involved are getting volunteers they never had before. And those volunteers are enjoying their time, and I am sure many of them will plan to volunteer again. Glad I could be part of it!

We dropped our blankets off On Sunday, March 7 and received our voucher email yesterday ( March 10)

I dropped off our blankets Feb 25 and I am still waiting for staus to change from pending verification!

DD16 and I volunteered for a beach cleanup and we got ours exactly a week later. I then volunteered with DBF and he got his exactly 1 week after we volunteered.

Mom2val- I'd contact them about this. Since its been more than 2 weeks now. The number for GAD is 407-827-5990

Did you send them in before your "completion" date? The date it actually has posted under your volunteer status? There have been reports where people have sent their stuff in early, but have not been able to be verified until that "completion" date has passed...

No I turned them in on my due date. I hand delivered them to a drop off location and handed them to a worker in the store I was instructed to go to.

My blankets were delivered on the 10th of this month and just got my free tickets this am!!

Our Binky Patrol blankets were delivered on Saturday March 13. We were pending verification from Sunday and then this morning, the 17th, I got the email saying we can print our vouchers.
