How long until my lilies come up?

I planted some lily bulbs this weekend. Will they do anything this year or am I going to have to wait until next year?

Also when do clemits bloom?

You should get something this year, if the bulbs were blooming size. Some of the cheap ones from the big box/Walmarts of the world are too small to bloom.

Clematis has started to bloom around here. You should expect to see the June blooming sort starting up within a week or so. Obviously, the fall-blooming sorts will take some time.

I had an Oriental lily open up last week, just one. My other Orientals and Stargazers are still working up the courage.

They should be opening soon. I've had 2 lillies start and here's a pic of my Clematis that started this week
