How long TTC to MK?

When we were there last January, we didn't experience any traffic at all getting to the parks, so you probably won't have to worry about traffic from your rental house. Once we arrived at the monorail station (at about 8:10), we were told that only one monorail route was open before 9am. The monorail stopped at Poly and GF, and stopped at least twice more (waiting for another train to unload, I'm guessing). There was no line at the security checkpoint, and we were through the turnstiles by 8:40. They did not allow us to enter onto Main Street. We had to stand in front of the flowers and wait for the train for the opening ceremony. This was not what I had hoped for for "rope drop" at the hub, but it was still great.

We always took the ferry after that, and I think the ferry and the monorail with stops take about the same amount of time.

Thanks for the info everyone. I had the same question. No problem finding out how long it takes from our off-site location to TTC but it's that last part that was unknown. I am going to plan on 45 minutes once we arrive at TTC. Since we are staying at Bonnet Creek we should be able to leave a bit before 8:00 and have no problem making rope drop.
