How long to walk from MK entrance to BOG?

I want an ADR before the MVMCP, and I want to do it as soon as possible. I've read that they may let you in before 4pm, but not to count on it, so I want to make sure I've got enough time to walk to BOG (with 2 kids in tow) and not be rushed. I was hoping I'd be OK with a 4:15pm - is that a reasonable time? I would like to use a couple of FP before the party starts and I'm going to need to eat as early as possible. BOG is important to me, or I'd skip it.

I do have another day as a BOG option, but it's our AK day and we already are doing 1 & 1/2 days at MK, so I don't know if I want to cut our AK day short to go to MK for BOG dinner (would have to be 6:00 or earlier because it's a party night).

It would be tight, but you'll make it. Try to arrive between 3:30pm and 3:45pm to allow yourself time to go through bagcheck and get wristbands.

I have never been to MVMCP but we have been to MNSSHP and we had BOG reservations on the same night as the party. we were in the park by 3pm walked around then went to eat and by that time we had to go and get our bracelets to show we had tickets for MNSSHP after that we were ok to stay in the park. I am assuming it should be the same for the MVMCP

Did they let you in an hour early for the party without wristbands? Or did you already have an AP or day tickets you used to get in at 3pm?

Exactly what I was going to ask. We are not using a park admission for the day of the party.

You have to have a park ticket to get in an hour earlier than 4 PM. The suggestion to be at bag check/security around 3:30 - 3:45 is the best advice.

1) For a walk, yes.
2) But, there will be a lot of party-goers already in line at the turnstiles for the 4:00pm entry.
3) This could make for a hold-up in getting into the park.

For a 4:15 reservation i would recommend being at the turnstiles by 3:30 to be near the front of the partygoers waiting to get in. You will also need to get your wristband after entering, but before heading to BOG.
