How Long to Wait?

Looking at a possible trip Jan 28 to Feb 5.... using FD for POR and RO discount for BWI. Other times are an option and also watching off-site resort price changes.

Any one have an idea how long I can wait before the FD or RO discount for Jan 28 to Feb 5 would be sold out? I'm figuring because it is value season and no special events etc at that time, those discounts should still be available for some time.

Aware that FD deadline is Dec 17...

Couldn't you book so you ensure you get the resorts you want locked in under the promotions and then if you want to make a change, you can do it before the 45-day mark for the package?
