I am sorry I have so many questions. As our trip is nearing I am trying to do some planning and all these things pop into my head.
Parades: how long ahead of time do you need to stake out your spot? Can you see if you stand behind people? We go to the Rose Parade almost every year, and we go about 3 hours prior to it starting. We are usually about 4 rows back and can still see the floats. Is WDW similar, or are they low floats that you need to be up front to really enjoy?
Are there places that are less crowded to see the parades?
Are there any shady spots, or do you just sit on the curb in the sun?
Are there better spots, where you can exit easier after the parade is over?
Any places we should avoid sitting?
I have an ADHD child. I would like him to be able to run around a little while we are 'waiting' for the parade. Is that a no/no?
Thanks

) that you really do miss a lot of the parade if you're behind someone who is standing up.
But he sure is
when he joins me w our daughter (2 of them this time) for a great comfortable spot.I do have a favorite. it is a bench in Adventureland, I think. I sit there, and put our shopping bag/ back pack beside me, to make it clear that the spot is taken. Selfish, rude, maybe
... But I know what I want, and I know how to get it
