Sorry, I looked for this but couldn't find it. We are arriving at 1:55 in the afternoon. What time could we expect to reach our resort (Fort Wilderness) using ME?

Many people report it taking 75-90 minutes from when they landed. Some a bit less, some much longer.

We've found that weekdays are usually 75-90 minutes. A mid day Sat in Sept took us 2 hours because of long lines waiting for the buses at the terminal.

I've used DME about 10 times now. My average is running at about 70-75 mins from gate to resort. I have had times of 55 mins and once it was close to 90 mins. The vast majority have run closer to the 75 min mark.

My husband's plane lands at 12:10am..how long do you think at that time?

The same or a bit longer. After 10:00 p.m. he will have to claim any checked bags as the DME luggage transfer service stops running at that time, which will add 20 minutes or so to the process. Late at night it also can take a more time for the buses to load and be sent out, or you can go out right away.

My one late night experience (arriving at 11pm) was not a good one. We were not standing at our resort's check in desk until 1am. We got right on the ME bus, but they we waited 20 minutes before we left. I really felt sorry for those people already on the bus. As our bad luck would have it, our resort was the 4th stop.

During the day I have had a huge variety in how the trips went. Sometimes we get on the bus and go, sometimes we have to wait 20 minutes before even getting on the bus. You really just don't know. Average time may be 90 minutes, but you have no way of knowing ahead of time if your trip will be average, or better, or worse.

My DS18 and he will have no luggage or carry ons...My younger DS10 and I are driving down (Auto Train)the day before and bringing all the luggage. So it is pretty much..walk off plane..board bus!!!

Maybe you don't want to know that for my trip of horror, Disney was still handling the bags? We didn't have to stop and get our luggage then either. It was right before they changed to having the 10pm cut off time for luggage handling.:rolleyes1

I've arrived late at night and our family had private motorcoach service to the Poly, so it can go either way. Bottom line is that I would still think 90 minutes is a reasonable expectation. Could be a bit more; could be a bit less.
