How long to get member number?

We have just closed today on our SSR resale.

I have been given the information I need to call Disney for our member number and have been told to wait 10 days.

Will I need to wait 10 days to get into the DVC member website?

You will need two pieces of information to get into the member website for the first time: a Club ID and a PIN. The PIN comes in the mail but the Club ID never will when you purchase resale rather than directly from Disney. Member Services can give you both of those over the phone once you are in their system. You should be in the system in 7-10 days from your closing depending upon how busy Member Administration is at the moment. Once you are in, someone in MS can give you the Club ID and PIN to register on the members' website.

today i have only been with DVC for a week and already have 6 confirmed reservations.

if you purchase from Disney the points are available right away. Resales are 7-10 days. I have been calling everyday( am now on day 9 and I am already in the system) every operator has told me how extremely busy MS has been lately. Good luck, I hope you get in the system soon

I have just received my one time activation code via email. Does this now mean I can call for my Member Number and Club ID? I have been calling daily and up until last night we wasn't in the system.

Please tell me this recent email indicates we are in!!!

I think you've set a record in DVC for one week and 6 reservations all ready. Good for you!
